For those having issues loading the menu screen mod with the AI 4k slop mod, the updated textures load from a different directory. You will need to place the 0007bc34.ctxr file into MGS2\textures\flatlist\ovr_stm\_win\ in order for this to work. This also applies to the menu mod for MGS3.
For whatever reason the loading screen and other screens are working but the menu screen is still the same no matter if I try the mgs 2 or upscaled. I'm using the AI 4k slop mod if that helps narrow anything down.
i tried installing it again on two computers and double checked the files, for me things work... try verifying files, maybe its a bug or a thing with the OS(?) :( ive had problems like that but only when im testing textures while the game is still up
Heyo! You might've noticed that there's a weird white edge/halo along the edges of these textures (you can even see it in your Raiden title screen preview image on here along the bottom of the master collection logo & the bottom and bottom right edges of the 2.)
This is a long known issue with how photoshop saves images with transparency, in that it sets empty pixels to white instead of bleeding the color that is adjacent to them. This results in white edges appearing around transparent textures due to how most game engines compress textures in memory, even though the image itself looks normal when viewed in photoshop & windows.
To fix this issue, simply open up your .PSD (or your .PNG) in gimp, export as a PNG (control shift e to open the export panel), then enable this option when saving the file as a PNG
heyhey, basically what happened was, when the initial mod page was created the creators assumed the master collection will be one exe with all the games in it and not separate exes so they made one mod page, but now we know that thats not the case so they decided to split the master collection releases of MSX games, MGS1, MGS2 and MGS3 into their own separate pages rather then have them all packed into one.
modders now need to reupload the mods they posted onto the new pages (already reuploaded all my stuff thankfully), so hopefully most of the old mods will gradually be coming back.

That'll fix the edge issue right up for ya. :)
