About this mod
The purpose of this mod is to make S+ and S++ ranks spawn naturally throughout the game without losing the vanilla's feeling of progression, while also making sure that special characters actually feel special and satisfying to find and recruit.

The purpose of this mod is to make S+ and S++ ranks spawn naturally along with other ranks throughout the game without losing the vanilla's feeling of progression, while also making sure that special characters actually feel special and satisfying to find and recruit.
VANILLA PROGRESSION BASED S+ AND S++ RECRUITS
By using the exact same spawn chances as the vanilla game, the player will naturally through progression come across S+ and S++ recruits the same way as it would with S soldiers in the vanilla game. The bigger your Motherbase grows, the better ranks will start spawning. On top of that, prisoners and even volunteers will be able to spawn as S+ and S++ ranks. In vanilla the endgame rank is S. With this mod the endgame ranks are S+ and S++.
In the tiny example below which only shows the final entry level out of 80, you can see how the vanilla percentages were applied. The mod only edits spawn chances for normal recruits, not their stats. Thus even if you uninstall the mod at some point, the S+ and S++ recruits you find will remain the same afterwards.

MOTHERBASE LEADERS
Unique characters such as Snake, Quiet, Miller, Ocelot, Huey and Code Talker, which are supposed to be leaders of their divisions, are now S++ staff. They're supposed to be the best of the best and their stats will reflect their skill.

PREORDER AND MGS GROUND ZEROES UNIQUE VOLUNTEERS
These volunteers are supposed to be special veterans, but in reality they were average at best. All pre-order staff along with Hideo Kojima are now S++ rank recruits.

SILENT BASILISK AND ZIANG TAN
The mod also boosts the stats of these two special exceptions into S++, since both the Silent Basilisk and Ziang Tan stay forever as staff members and cannot be dismissed by normal means.
- Silent Basilisk is a Mujahideen survivor from the main story mission "Where Do the Bees Sleep?".
- Ziang Tan is one of the prisoners in the "Unlucky Dog" side-mission.

SPECIALISTS
Specialists are unique recruits only found in specific missions. They provide the Motherbase with their mastery of the craft and unique development opportunities, but their stats did not reflect this. All unique specialists are now high ranking staff.

COMPATIBILITY
Mods which replace Assets\tpp\motherbase\script\MbmCommonSetting.lua will not work with this mod without merging the conflicting scripts.

Install the mod using SnakeBite Mod Manager.
