that's not the default position for the hands/ fingers, the default pose for MGS5 models is a t pose with the hands and fingers extended straight out. If they aren't gripping the handguards fully then it's something with the vanilla animations. None of my my mods modify any animations, only the outfit models themselves.

First I would like to ask you, when you test drove the mod, did it look like the screenshot? I want to know what it looks like in your game. Whether you are holding the gun properly. I reported the same bug in "Diamond Dogs gauntlet removal" three months ago, but if you still haven't seen this bug, it might be my problem. However, at this point, I think it is unlikely that there is a problem with my mod environment or the vanilla game.
I have tested it again. I compared the completely vanilla state with all mods removed and the state with only your mods installed. But still the same glitch happens only when I put your mods in, and only on the models that are modified by your mods. You said you didn't change the animation, only the model, but changing the model means that the animation is affected. For example, if there is a problem with the bones or weights of the modified model, it will not play the vanilla animation properly. Even a mod that just replaces the model will affect the animation. So, I hope you will check it out your model.
The weights used were copied over from the Vanilla DD gloves so the vanilla dd gear may have the same issue as well. The fingers of the vanilla sneaking suit gloves are most likely weighted differently. Unfortunately i have no plans to revisit these mods at this time and can't promise anything about visiting them in the future as i have to move on to other projects. =/

Vanilla DDGear does not seem to have any problems.
My guess is that there was some kind of mistake when copying the weights, or you need to adjust them to fit your modified mesh. In general, if you increase or decrease the polygon count, you repaint the weights. Modding is not a job, so it is up to you to move on to a new project, and you are under no obligation to fix bugs in the mod. However, as far as I've tried, I've encountered the same bug in all your MGSV mods. If you can't confirm this bug in your environment, then I'm afraid it's difficult to address, but if you can, then please consider whether you can fix it before you start making the next one. If you leave the bug and move on to the next project, you are reproduction bug.
Your costume mod is very tasteful and will be even better once this glitch is fixed. :D
Perhaps I can chime in here as another mod creator who makes custom outfits. This happens with almost every outfit mod if it re-rigs the skeleton. The Skeletons are made on an outfit by outfit basis and when you take a mesh that doesn't belong to the skeleton and put it on that skeleton it does this. Now for whatever reason it only happens in this one specific instance. Not during cutscenes or anything else.
Unfortunately this isn't something that's easily fixable without more work than it's worth - ultimately it is 2/3 fingers that are not bent, as the thumb remains in it's default position.

BTW: I know somebody asked fot it before but I really really would like to play as snake with this outfit. I don't use other characters.
Good luck and thank you for your work!
