Followed the steps, but gpu usage remains at 25% while fps is hovering arounds 70 - 80 (rtx2060+r5 5600+16gb ram), why could that be happening?

How could someone with weaker gpu and cpu on board be getting 100+ tho? Saw someone with 1660s and r5 3600 get like 100-120 stable with everything maxed out. (mine is low everything except textures and models)

... huh? having the frame rate unlocked means that your hardware should be working as hard as possible to spit out as many frames as it can. either the GPU or one of your CPU cores should be hitting 100%. optimization is irrelevant, just changes the number of frames you're getting once your hardware is pushed to it's limit.

Logically that should be the case, but I only get like 10% usage of cpu and 20% on gpu. I get more fps in cyberpunk with my specs lmao. I guess this game reacts to specific hardware differently. Because I've played on laptop with rtx3050 and i7 12th series and it was giving me 100+ fps all of the time and that's considering 3050 is weaker than 2060 and it's even weaker because it's a chopped down laptop version of the gpu. I really don't know why it's happening.

I get 100-120 stable on a 3070 and i9-11900k just fine. Thats the beauty of pc gaming, you can have a better system and still have less frames than someone else. I dont see the point in the mod though, the game is definitely not capped at all for me, with vsync off on a 240hz monitor.

it seems like game just works poorly with ryzen cpus, it can't fully utilize it and u end up being cpu bound in most scenarios, thus having underwhelming fps... it's the same for me (r5 5600 but rtx 2060)

I normally edit the TPP_CONFIG file myself but I noticed recently that it no longer works. While file itself shows that framerate_control : Variable, The actual in game setting always shows up as Auto and no, I have not changed the settings in-game. I even set the file to read only and it still only shows up as "Auto" in game. I'm just wondering if you've experienced the same issue.
