People seem to not understand the difference between STUN and SLEEP

CQC / Rubber Bullets (any weapon that has STN tag) will only STUN enemies. They will have "STN" icon over their heads. They will wake from stuns. Or else mod would be too unbalanced.

Tranq guns, choking enemies out, sleeping gas mines (any weapon that has ZZZ tag) = Enemy Asleep

If an enemy has "ZZZ" icon over his head, he is asleep. He shouldn't wake up.

My mod only supports SLEEPING enemies not waking up.
STUNNED enemies are supposed to wake up.

Please understand the difference before commenting

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    IMPORTANT:
If you STUN an enemy first then, for example, tranq him, the tranq won't override the STUN with SLEEP.
The enemy will wake in the same time he would wake from the original STUN state you put him in.

To circumvent this; say you CQC STUN an enemy to the ground, then want to put him to SLEEP, you'd first need to kick him awake, then tranq him to SLEEP. Then that will make sure he never wakes up.

Great mod, I understand that this makes sleeping last forever, however is there a way I can modify the stun timers myself for personal use? or is that impossible?

Adding here because it is relevant to this mod: Everyone can edit the duration of the sleep effect directly on Infinite Heaven without any other mods:

Go to the MOD folder where the game is installed. Find the "modules" folder and inside it the "InfSoldierParams" file. Open this file with a text editor like notepad. Search for "sleepRecoverSec", the numbers after the "=" sign determine the duration of sleep in seconds. Put some high number like 3600 and the soldier will sleep for one hour (real time). You'll find "sleepRecoverSec" two times on the file, edit the numbers in both of them.

There's also "faintRecoverSec", which I think controls the STUN duration, but it didn't work for me, maybe it will work for you.

There's also "DyingSec" which I think controls the time in seconds wounded soldiers take to die, but I didn't test this one.

Don't forget to activate the "edit soldier parameters" option on the Infinite Heaven menu or it will not work.

Thanks, but do you know if I can do this same thing for my character? I don't want them to fall asleep by sleeping gas or non-lethal weapons, can I do that doing this same thing? if not do you know any other way I can do this?

Hey turnsout both versions of the mod don't work on newest version of the game or it has something to do with infinite heaven mod conflicting with this and yes hit enemies to sleep zzz tranq gun

I'm running into the same issue. I've tested it with tranq and choking. Choking correctly puts enemies to sleep but regardless of method, they all eventually wake up. Injured soldiers are also dying despite having the '+ injured enemies never die' version installed.

Using the following mod load order:
      - Anyone's MGSV Improvements Mod
      - Cure Asthma
      - IHHook
      - Infinite Heaven
      - New Female Faces and Hairs
      - SAS Equipment
      - Take Me Off the Grid
      - Choked / No Wake / Injured never die

Na, I can confirm. I knocked out an entire outpost. No one present to wake up anyone. Guy in a riot suit wakes up, immedaitely radios "CP, I think I've been attacked by an intruder."

      Knocked out how? What method?

You have to make sure they are sleeping and not stunned. They will wake from stuns. The mod is designed that way

Put the enemy into STN first, then use the ZZZ weapon and the enemy will wake up.
Use the ZZZ weapon directly and it will not wake
      Thanks guy

thanks , yep I always thought it's weird how Kojima encourages killing enemies rather than pacifying them in MGSV.

In my first playthrough I just killed everybody and slit their throat after interrogating because then no hassle of them waking up.

So I've wanted to make this mod for a while and finally did it. I have some other MGSV mods I need to release too

CQC isn't supposed to put them to sleep. It stuns them.

It means a grab. If you spam the melee button while an enemy is in a chokehold, they get choked out. (Them falling asleep is a little unrealistic, as they'd basically be in a state of semi-unconsciousness)

      @SouthboundSoul

      are you serious lol?

Please read my sticky on top of page

Rubber bullets and CQC *STUNS* them. It plainly says "STN" over their heads. "ZZZ" is when they are asleep.

Stuns are working as they are supposed to. They will wake from stuns. Or else mod would be too unbalanced.

CQC isn't supposed to put them to sleep. It stuns them.

My mod: "Enemies that are put to sleep IN ANY WAY don't wake up."

Emphasis on the "put to sleep"
