To make your own CustomSoundtrack mod, create a folder and drag the "GameDir" folder of this mod into created folder. Use Makebite (found in SnakeBite) with the created folder as the root. Using a mod to install music into your custom music is not necessary except as a workaround if your custom music won't load running through SnakeBite. Using a program like WinRAR you can open and access .mgsv files.
you wont believe this but i added all these songs into my dads old 2002 Sony walkman lmao , now i can listen to mgs songs in style , thanks for the mod .
So you gotta use Snakebite to add this? And use Makebite to add your very own music? One would think that you could just simply drag music files into the customsoundtrack folder in the game dir since it's like right there...
Why in the world did they make it that hard to even add your own music in the first place???? So much for being intuitive on their game design... Can't even make the basic QOL more simpler and user friendly...
You can open up the mod file and manually drag the music files to customsoundtrack folder if you prefer. I packaged it as an mgsv file for simplicity. Using a mod is a workaround if your custom music doesn't load when booting through snakebite.
I feel like this excellent mod would have like 3x the endorsements and downloads if you didn't use the most cursed thumbnail ever. Like seriously that's what stopped me from downloading before and I regret it, this mod adds a ton of great music idk why you'd advertise your mgs music mod with a laughing crying emoji lmao
