    Sticky
The update is finally here. It should iron out most of the problems it had.

I wasn't planning on touching the mod the last time I updated it, but I had many people download the mod since and I didn't want to leave the requests and problems unanswered. Sorry I couldn't replay to everyone, but the bug reports and requests has been noted, so I made this update with everyone's requests in mind.

    Thanks for downloading.

      Hello,

      Two questions:

      1) will this make my soldiers look like pic 4 in my Offline Base or is this just for multi player? I want to make my offline base soldiers wear this outfit.

      2) in the Male Soldier MSF file there are two types MSF25 and MSF Mosquito, what is the difference?

MSF Mosquito I believe has to do with the "Retake the Platform" mission. MSF25 I believe has to do with the wandering soldiers. Sorry for the necro, but I thought this might explain it.

                                                                                                   BANDANA MSF FATIGUES 3.0

Hello ! As I was very annoyed that the MSF Fatigues 3.0  had a bataclava/headphones over bandana, I decided to enter in the mod files and remove that to get the bandana back.

How I done that is I transformed the " MGSV " file into a " ZIP " file, extracted, then browsed to " MSF Fox V\Assets\tpp\pack\player\parts " and opened the " plparts_battledress.fpk " file with GZS tool.

There, I removed the three " sna0_faceX_cov.fmdl " files but untouched the " sna5_main0_def " ones. Then I removed their entries in the " metadata.xml " file and put the brand new " plparts_battledress.fpk " & " metadata.xml " files within the Snakebite mod file (.mgsv)

And all worked out perfectly !
So if you are interested in a MSF Fatigues with true Bandana, my correction of the mod is available in my Google Drive :
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N2d7YoWhc2mAA2cSeF--s8ZJQhzX-xFc/view?usp=sharing

This covers the Venom Snake FOX ver. of the MSF fatigues. Perfectly compatible to any head model you would have and full features of bionic arm ! And the Primary hip weapon is not invisible like in previous versions ( 2.0, 1.9 ect... )

I'd like very much to have this mod with the flash/stun-sleep grenades on chest armor version like in previous entries (which had invisible hip weapon), I'll may give it a try one day.

I thought I was going to do it myself.
But you're a legend for posting yours.
Thank you, I didn't have the tools for it.

Did you, or anyone ever figure out how to add the hip weapon to the 2.0 versions?
I personally think the 2.0 versions are great for both snake and the soldiers, I liked that they replaced the sneaking suit.
The 'dirty' look of the textures were a great fit, and the flash/stun-sleep grenades were lovely.
This was almost the perfect variant with the only downside being the missing hip weapon.
I would pay someone to do this, and to add the female MSF fatigues along with it (as a replacer for the same battledress/sneaking suit as male)

Hello butler753, I am not playing the game currently.
I am pretty sure a 3.0/2.0 mix up could be done messing with the files and merging them so the hip weapon is available, that's what I thought to myself and I'd like to give it a shot when the time comes.
As for the female DD's, a mod exists for basic groundwork thankfully : MSF Gear for Female DD Staff
Maybe something like what I done could be tried

When I downloaded the File and try to install I just see the file "Male Solider MSF Fatigues-703-3-1-1584608952" and I can't add it through snakebite

Nice mod but I had to stick out with the 2.0 : I don't want a bandana replacement for Snake !!!
Should have been an option like before

No weapon model on hip at 2.0 and no bionic arm ( and the Stun bionic arm pops up )... Very annoying !
