Are you still playing and wanting help?

I'm working on a new stable and improved update.

I still believe this is the most attractive and balanced preset on the Nexus. Other presets over-saturate the visuals and/or deviate from the tone of the game. Looks great with I Can't Believe It's Not Reshade. I give SharpFX Resources priority over conflicting mods in the SnakeBite Manager.

Works in late 2021. Disable NVIDIA's In-Game Overlay if you are experiencing crashes on launch.

Thank you for the feedback, i'm working on a new version that works better with some more graphic improvements while keeping "natural" colors!

Do you use other mods? I don't think SweetFX can cause this kind of problems unless a key is binded to you binoculars key which isn't the case here, only numpads are used to turn it on or off.

I know this is a long shot, but when I use this ReShade. All yellow color pulses purple, is there any fix to this?

This Mod needs an update, it isn't compatible for game version 1.0.6

This reshade looks amazing. Adds that last little tint to make the game look more realistic; more warm and fleshy, if that makes sense. That ugly green tint on everything is gone. Nights also become actually dark. It makes it much more difficult to play through the night, which I personally love. However, I lose about 10 fps with this on. It's totally worth it, though.

go to sweetfx_settings.txt and you can turn off bloom that might get your 10 fps back :)

For reference, you can actually install the entire ReShade with SnakeBite now, like how this mod did it: https://www.nexusmods.com/metalgearsolidvtpp/mods/254?

You just have to put all of the ReShade files into a "GameDir" folder for the Makebite build. There's some examples of this in Makebite, when you click "Formatting Help".

Anytime I press a key this pops up on the top left of the screen and the it spams the loading effect. . . already compiled. Is there any way to disable the warning or error messages?

You cannot disable this message. Do you get the message "Compiling effect ... succeeded" (regardless of the two errors) at first when you start the game? If not you should look if you don't have any files left from another preset.

Also can you send me your D3d11 logs? (steamapps\common\MGS_TPP\d3d11.txt)

Hey man, you did a great job with this mod. I love the way it looks (though I had to disable the sharpening, I found it a bit too much on my monitor) but I also have the SweetFX add-on for Fallout 4 and have the same problem there as well..whenever I alt-tab out of the game that has SweetFX enabled, when I tab back it always crashes, 100% of the time. Any idea on why this might be?

      Thanks!
You can avoid crashes by running the game in windowed fullscreen, I think you have to set the option before installing the mod or it make it crash as well.
My next version have a better sharpening effect (and more :p) i'm going to upload it today or tomorrow. I hope you'll like it.

Thanks so much for the reply. I will give that a try.

edit: I just remembered that when I change to Borderless Windowed, I then can't alt-tab out of the game anyway to check chrome or put on some music xD weird game.

Have you tried to press the windows key then click on the taskbar ? Or windows key then alt-tab?

Yeah I tried all that, didn't work. Thanks for the reply buddy, but I figured it out last night. Windows 10 allows you to have 2 desktops, I simply alt-tab and select my second desktop and it effectively alt-tabs in this game. A solution for anyone with a similar problem playing on Windows 10.

Sorry i'm late. I have to come out of game to activate a marker fix to run the game in ultrawide. The solution was CTRL ALT ESC.
