got the save working ran a ng+ just to find you didnt actually pick up all attachments so just a heads up for anyone else looking for a actual complete save to run ng+ this one is not it.
I had an issue where it would not recognize the file. I copy pasted the data from the outro save file to my quick save file using notepad and finally got this to work. It will just ignore the files until you put the data in a file the game recognized previously.
Can you explain how you made it work with more details, because mine also isn't recognized. Every time I start the game it's like im starting it fresh.
After loading up this save file open ur game go to chapters select 'THE FINAL' u need to see this through till credits roll up then u will come back to main menu. click on new game select the save file it will overwrite then ng+ will appear ✌️
Steam (top left menu) > Settings > Cloud > switch off/toggle off cloud.
The thing is, after your install your save files, if you have cloud enabled it will copy over those again! Go look at the dates. Should show dates around 5/18/2020 for the save files this guy last uploaded. You do not need to push profile or user. I deleted those and the saves still worked. All that will do is mess up your key bindings.
Also, I purchased metro exodus enhanced edition, but I'm using the normal. I read somewhere on steam you might need to add something to the name of the file. The link to that thread someone gives in one of these comments. You could try that if you are using enhanced and this doesn't work.
Works quite well, thank you! Though it seems to put the game in 24 hour mode? Any way I could reset/avoid that (without having to restart the game I mean) ? I miss sunsets/sunrises. 😅
