I drop metro onto the script, all i get is a crash message(it isnt running?) I tried it while it's running, and it says a copy of the application is running. Any help?
The script can only be used when the game isn't running. Another thing, some versions of Windows has disabled VBS by default, or it isn't installed. You'll need to check this yourself.
The other user who mentioned it doesn't work had the correct executable but something was preventing the script from working properly. Maybe try running it as admin or creating an exception in your AV software. It should work for all the English versions of the game on Steam (they appear to be the same).
It seems that there are different versions of the Enhanced Edition on Steam, probably a regional thing. If you want you can upload your game's executable file somewhere and PM me the link, I'll take a look at it.
is there any chance of an Option to Increase the World FOV Separately from the Weapon FOV? In-Game you can already change the FOV but it pushes the Weapon way out to scale with the World FOV, so you have this Great Field of View But the Weapon is pushed out a bit too far.
You can try commenting either 1 of 2 lines in the script to disable one of the FOV patches and see how it affects the game. To do so, open the script in a Notepad window and head to either line 144 or 145 and place an apostrophe (') at the beginning of the line.
I don't have the game installed anymore and can't test this myself, but I remember using only one of the patches from the script left the viewmodel FOV in its original state. Remember to only comment out one of the lines at a time or else nothing will be patched. I don't know if it will work exactly as you want it to but it's worth trying if you're desperate, hopefully you can get it working!
I would like to support more platforms than just Steam, but I have no way of easily obtaining the files for those versions. If you can upload and send me a link to the main game executable (MetroExodus.exe) in a DM, I will add support for it.
You probably can but I don't have it installed, so I can't check the exe. You can change FOV in the user.cfg file though (it doesn't reset in the standard edition), but I'm not sure if it affects iron sight FOV if you do it that way.

Could u tell me the detailed method to use this mod?when i drag the exe file to the vbs script,it read:
ERROR:invalid input file
Drag and drop your metro exodus game executable on this script to use it
Only when i open vbs file by MetroExodus.exe,it can be effective, but still, the fov highest limit is 75,not 100
So,Could u tell me which process i have made a mistake?
My windows system is win11 24h2,and my game version is enhanced version from steam platform
