It still works after TU4 as it's simply a tex edit, any future update is not likely to break it. Please check if there're other UI mods that overwrite this one, or use FirstNatives for all your mods.
Hi, MHR does not auto detect the controller type we're using, and this mod also has no reason whatsoever not to work since it's simply a tex replacing, nothing more than that. So there's really not much I can help from here.
If other mods work for you except for this one, my guess is it's overwritten by some other mod you installed (e.g. 4K HUD Mod, Stealthier Design, etc). You can easily test it by running the game with this mod only, and let's say you should always enable this one after any other UI modification mods.
Well, I had this mod before Sunbreak always active, since it exists, never conflicted with other mods, just this one doesn't work in Sunbreak (even without UI mods), weird but whatever xD
Hey, I'm not sure why you would ever need such an "inverted NS controller" version. Cuz from my point of view the NS icons are already inverted comparing to Xbox, nothing wrong with it.
I assume you're using an NS pro controller, and you should do the followings: 1. Go to Steam menu Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings, make sure you DO NOT check the dumb*** "Use Nintendo Button Layout". 2. Install this mod. 3. Set the ingame confirm button to "A", which should be the right one on the button pad.
This will give exactly the same experience as if you're playing MHR on Switch.

What people needs to do is uninstall all mods first on the Fluffy Option then Re-Read Game Archives so it reverts back to Vanilla files.
If you have any Texture/UI mods that you are using. You should install the DS4 option LAST so it doesn't get overwritten.
I'm using
4K HUD Mod
UI and Icon Overhaul -Mod
and it didn't work when I installed DS4 first before these two. So always put it on last.
Just do the above method (Always uninstall your mods and re-read game archive for every major update, then install mods normally).

The button A, B and X, Y are inverted to match the NS Layout with the XBOX controllers layout in Steam but not in game making it strange to use.
It looks like this (layout of the xbox is switched to match the NS one)

I can't test this theory myself, please help me to address the issue.
