from my testing (on red scroll) change the value at the far right from 0 to 1 to activate the skills below i.e to get kinsect slash change replacement technique 4 to 1
then do the scroll swap twice (red/blue/red) to activate
I would kill for a mod like this, but it allowed you to unlock/set skills prior to unlocking them or scrolls. It sucks playing a new run when you need to rush to mid-MR4 for skills.
has anyone figured out what to set the values to for longsword to use the new sheath and switch skills? i dunno which values to use im trying them all but its so much work
Honestly I kinda find myself less hyped for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak now. Charge blade has about only 1 new skill and it is not really good as far as I tried it. (which is the axe mode uppercut and then the blast)
Still going to buy SB but I'm kinda disappointed in the way the game changed, unlike Iceborne which was a total incredible change.
I think they did a lot of hidden balance changes and fixes to each weapon, lance got some great buffs and fixed stuff like insta block not having many i-frames and being too punishing if you misstimed , instablock not allowing you to use a silkbind move after you block without having to do another action first, the way anchor rage interacted with guard, hammer got some new combo paths with charge courage, in the case of CB they fixed the hitboxes and tweaked some stuff to make spinning slash less clunky, I do think they could have done better with some of the new switch skills, but the balance changes and fixes have been pretty good.
- For the new non-Silkbind skills in the 3rd Switch Skill moveslot seen in the official preview videos, it's the 4th address in the scrolls/Replacement Technique 4 (applies to all weapons).
- For the new Silkbinds not appearing in the official preview videos, they're in either the Silkbind 1 (Wirebug + Normal attack/Reload for ranged) slot or the Silkbind 2 (Wirebug + Special attack) slot: +) 5th address/Replacement Technique 5: Longsword (Silkbind 1), Hammer (Silkbind 1), Hunting Horn (Silkbind 2), Switch Axe (Silkbind 1) and Heavy Bowgun (Silkbind 1) +) 6th address/Replacement Technique 6: Greatsword (Silkbind 2), Sword & Shield (Silkbind 1), Dual Blades (Silkbind 2), Lance (Silkbind 1), Gunlance (Silkbind 2), Charge Blade (Silkbind 1), Insect Glaive (Silkbind 1), Light Bowgun (Silkbind 1) and Bow (Silkbind 2)
Or the quickest way to do and confirm this is just by checking the 5th & 6th addresses of the Blue scroll, whichever address has the 0 is the unlisted Silkbind. If you changed the value of the currently-equipped scroll, remember to swap to the other scroll & swap back after changing the value; since it won't display the name of the hidden Silkbinds so just test out and you'll see the moves.
Interestingly for some weapons this enables stacking of skills that are normally share a slot, such as having Awakened Kinsect Attack while on the ground for IG but Diving Wyvern while in the air.

(which is the axe mode uppercut and then the blast)

The mod is working just fine though
