They both work now. though the other one gave me short freezes throughout my gameplay so im switching. and according to the 'other one' this one is consists of half the code from the 'other one' without premission. BUT this one doesn't require the other Catlib libary extension. so less dependend on other mods.
Works perfectly and can conform that it adds performance whenever overlay transparency would have been used. Was waiting for someone to make this MOD. Thank you
the mod is giving me this message everytime start the game, i dont understand this so if someone could give me a solution would be much appriciated.

I got this too, and only got it as soon as I downloaded the updated version of this mod, I wanted to go back to the old version if it was available to see if it really is the new version causing the issues but unfortunately can't seem to find that old file to download and I would appreciate it if the mod author allows to access the old files.
For reference i tested everything on an RTX 5090 Asus Tuf OC which is undervolted and overclocked on Core Voltage, Core Cock and Memory Clock + a 9800x3D which is undervolted at -25 All Core and has PBO enabled at +200mhz + 32GB of DDR5 3200 CL28 RAM. I tested everything on 2k resolution, max settings except for shadow quality at high not highest, without frame gen enabled and on DLSS 4 quality preset K, which i set up in the Nvidia all over my GPU driver. I also use a 'Camera Distance' mod which increases my camera distance and FOV by a bit but not by much and to mention it aswell i tested the performance impact of that mod alone aswell before and my results were that it surprisingly didnt impact performance much at all (-5 fps up to -10fps in some scenes at most).
First up is the 'Disable Camera Overlap Transparency' mod:
Test 1 - Leaving the Windward Plains Base Camp and going to the Grassy Open Area during Plenty + Daytime : -20 fps hit which goes to to -30 fps hit during the demanding scenes on screen with many small monsters and objects to render. probably a -35 to -40 fps hit to my 1% and 0.1% fps lows with this mod. i went from 95-110 fps without this mod to about 68-90 fps with this mod.
Test 2 - Leaving the Scarlet Forest Base Camp and going straight to the Water Curtains/Fountain where the water comes from during Plenty + Daytime: when leaving the basecamp i had a -5 fps hit at maximum, which went up the closer i got to the Water Curtains/Fountain to a maximum of -30 fps hit. i went from 95-135 fps without this mod to about 90-105 fps with this mod.
Test 3 - Staying in Base Camp (Tested different ones) during different Periods and Times: Around a -5 fps hit if any. In some heavy scenes / situations up to a -10 fps hit. its really depended on the base camp and the period in the local + time.
Test 4 - Tempered Gore fight in the Iceshard Cliffs during Plenty + Daytime : -20 fps hit in general which goes to to -30 fps hit during the demanding scenes on screen like big attacks from gore or pulling floating boulders. probably again a -35 to -40 fps hit to my 1% and 0.1% fps lows with this mod. i went from 95-135 fps without this mod to about 85-105 fps with this mod.
Performance impact is still quite a bit (in some scenarios i would even say more than before the recent update to version 1.2) I personally would use the other "original" mod of this https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/984 as in my testing that one didnt affect performance at all or rather at maximum it was a -5 or -10 fps hit in all scenarios compared to up -35 fps hit with https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/1047. Hope it helps, cheers and happy hunting <3
@MrPleb i am 100% certain its not the system but thanks. i am not a casual when it comes to this. i dont see any performance loss in benchmarks for GPU and CPU and RAM or any other game including wilds when this mod is disabled, stability testing is without erroring over 24h periods no effective clock streching on anything. i also dont have a performance loss with 'Disable Near Fade and Camera Zoom In' - the https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/984?tab=posts
the performance loss from this mod 'Disable Camera Overlap Transparency' goes away after disabling the mod again so its not my system.
@huy98vn i also dont have a performance loss with 'Disable Near Fade and Camera Zoom In' - the https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/984?tab=posts
the performance loss from this mod 'Disable Camera Overlap Transparency' goes away after disabling the mod again so its not the camera mod. as already stated.
edit - it could be a combination of both mods 'camera distance' + 'Disable Camera Overlap Transparency' but again i dont have that performance impact with 'Disable Near Fade and Camera Zoom In', idk why.
? bro what are you on, should i send you some screenshots of the performance loss i have with this mod ? are you now the 2nd accound of the author of this mod here - Disable Camera Overlap Transparency? is that your logic...
You could do with providing actual video evidence of such drops occurring, especially when you're saying it has "probably" or "about" a certain FPS hit. Specific numbers would do a lot to help your argument, especially when you're the only one in here claiming that there's these drops, whereas I and others haven't experienced this and the mod author themself claims performance should be identical if not better.
Think about it logically too. The only effect this mod has is on terrain and NPCs that the camera is right up against, making them opaque instead of transparent. However even while transparent they're still being rendered by the game, otherwise you'd be able to run through solid objects that have faded out. The rendering load with or without this mod should be pretty identical, and the resulting performance difference negligible. This is basically what's stated in the mod description.
read my inital comment its litterally my test results with spesific numbers and what i tested? do you think i am tripping and trolling or what. the mod author i think even said to report such stuff no?
i tested all the test cases without this mod here, with this mod here and with the other "original fade out mod" from that other guy again the only performance hit is with this mod now. if you really want i can show screenshots, i just dont know what you get out of that, the performance hit will still be there its just about trust, but if you insist i can provide screenshots with fps numbers and my mod folder open at the same time/REFramework showing my loaded mods lol.

I used Better Camera Distance before, but after remove that mod, this mod still doesn't work properly.
