Disclaimer: Some users have been banned by Capcom, but the known prerequisite for a ban is receiving a significant number of reports. Simply using this mod does not affect others' gameplay, meaning there is no reason for others to report you. If you are banned due to reports, neither the mod nor its author will be held responsible. By using this mod, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms by default. Additionally, according to Capcom's terms of service, all mods fall under prohibited content. Therefore, any mod you use from Nexus (or other platforms) constitutes grounds for Capcom to ban your account. However, currently Capcom has only banned accounts with excessive reports, indicating that they primarily expect users to avoid using mods that disrupt others' gameplay experience during online interactions.
Like others have said Installing this mod manually into the Reframework autorun folder worked. just Installing through Vortex and enabling in fluffy did not.
Why would you even use vortex when fluffy already does the the installing and managing of mods, it's like installing 2 different word processors. Fluffy already has a menu that downloads the framework directly even...
This mod doesn't work installed through Fluffy, so I'm not sure what your point is.
There are many reasons to use Vortex: - No manual file handling, except in rare cases like this one where the author cannot be bothered to properly package their mod. - Update checks to Nexus Mods site and direct download of updates with no manual file manipulation. - Keeping everything in one app for people who already use Vortex. - Run Fluffy in one click to enable mods after download.
At the end of the day, you can do whatever you want. Just be accurate in your speech.
The reason this doesn't work with fluffy isn't bc of Fluffy, it's because the mod author didn't bother to make the reframework/autorun folders, it's just the lua file. Other modders have, but if anyone for some reason wants to use this one specifically with fluffy then just do this
Unzip this mod
Create a folder named reframework
Go into the created folder and create another folder and name it autorun
drop the lua file into the created autorun folder and then zip the created reframework folder.
Drop into fluffy and activate, should work fine now
Worked, and still can play online. Its kinda buggy because the "edit" button is greyed out if you start with "0" but after spamming "g" and go back in and out, it suddenly available.
Is the mod still working? If it is, how do you guys make it work? I tried using it by following the steps, and its not working for me. Do I need to re-install MH Wilds?
Hey there, you mentioned in some comments that editing the save file directly would risk corrupting the data.
But could you do something like that as an optional "tool"? So people could clean up vestiges of using the mod once they are done with it. Users would, of course, use the "tool" at their own risk.
so According to the jp bro's comment it's like: your purchased ticket (or free ticket from the official) - times of edition you've done in that save file=0 or below.
The game's save files record the number of times you edit your character, this mod return a 0 when game check this value, this is how it works. it means when you delete this mod, game will check the real value of times you edit your character, so your ticked will be 0(your ticked consumed). Modifying the save directly risks corrupting the data, so i wont do that.

@gamniac and how would you know? everything ive seen leads me to believe they have no anti-cheat inplace to enact bans on modding. Banning cheats affecting players is usually a by case/report from what ive seen, like Corrodias said - they have yet to show that they intend to ban mods - and if they did want to itd be much easier to just encrypt the game files or actually have anti-cheat inplace of the game (which there is none.)
There is no anti-cheat in this game so no way for them to know if you're using mods or not. Capcom has always allowed mod use in their single player/co-op games, and I don't see that changing any time soon. It's a locally hosted PvE game with instanced co-op. There is no reason for them to care what you do with your game.
@Gamniac This shouldn't be done, but there were no user sanctions in the Monster Hunter series even if you used all kinds of cheats in multiplayer and influenced others.
Actually,as u knew, some Fling trainer users get banned from using multi co-op server, cuz Fling trainer didn't input a bypass for anti-tamper for MHWs itself.
Anit cheat maybe not but anti tamper that bogs down your cpu and is useless since it got bypassed like day one.. yes. And exact same thing happened when Iceborne released.
In fact, there once was a time where getting banned was most definitely possible. Back in Tri, when you had parts from a monster you had not slain yet, you were banned from accessing multiplayer. I know that because it happened to me back when I was a little turd with no skill.
No idea how it is in this game though. But if they really cared, it would probably prove easy to just check the save file for any irregularities as they did back then in order to revoke online access.
I have used this mod since its release and have played online with my gf and randoms for a good chunk of that. Over 100 hours. No ban on my end (yet.) I don't see anyone getting banned though considering these mods have existed (from what I've heard) peacefully in other games like World and Rise for years. This can of course change with Wilds being the biggest MH release yet, so using mods like this is completely up to you. Time will tell.
edit: image didnt work, but there is proof if you look @ no one specifically, allegedly anything that violates any DLC paywall is at risk, use with caution theres articles about it too if you look
Make sure the infcharmake.lua is inside your autorun folder, not the ZIP or the file inside another folder.
The Lua itself needs to be directly in autorun, Sometimes you still have 0 Vouchers but spamming G fixes it after a few tries if the Lua is in the right place.
Can you help me out a bit? Everytime I move the file to REframework - autorun it doesn't appear. It doesn't have an extract button so I'm assuming its working but I'm not good with computers, and no video is giving me the answer.

And exact same thing happened when Iceborne released.
