    Hey SilverEzredes Found a hard Bug in the MDF-XL Mod for the Layered Weapon Option, if you change your weapon via Layered Weapon Option the Games FPS drops to 20-30 and the Game is lagging horrible. After that you need to restart the Game or going back to title. Maybe take a look at that. Maybe its a compatibilty Problem with the Reframework Mod.

      just to add on to this i think it also happens when you modify your weapons i change the skills of the bow gun then MDF start doing a data update and the frames drops in the 20s

      I've seen other people saying that newer REF versions cause issues, unfortunately I'm currently pretty busy with IRL things and can't look into this.

    Mizutsune weapons seems to be locked out for layers.

    The mod often refresh for no particular reason that makes the FPS drops with lag spike whenever it does, like simply walking out of basecamp area or in the middle of fighting monster it could dip as far as 19fps before it finally pick back up to 60 fps, only to dip again to 40fps whenever this thing happen like when the monster attack and stuff. Often time the edit also reverted by itself.

    Is there a way to fix this? I've confirmed that the REFrameworks works fine and when I uninstall this mod, the lagspike no longer there.

    EDIT: Found the fix, apparently the mod actually doing fine, however the hotkeys being set up by default in such way that it will be triggered constantly when playing, removing or editing the hotkeys fixed the lag spike issues

    I fixed mine by making the hotkey Del on all because it doesn't allow me to make it blank.

      Scroll bit lower on the MDF-XL tab in ReFramework, there should be section about hotkey where you can meddle with it.

    Posting this here as well as on REFramework.
    Experiencing severe lag/framerate drops to the point that my game starts looking like stop animation. Hurting my eye to the point of not being able to play. Narrowed it down to MDF and REFramework.

    not sure how to go about fixing it, as its beyond my expertise/paygrade lol. constantly having to exit game to rectify, but it begins right again.

    if anyone is/has experienced/ing this, have you hound a fix?

    If you suddenly find that your weapons are hidden while sheathed, be aware that two check boxes in the first MDF panel have made themselves be checked as on and you just need to scroll down a bit on it and uncheck them. They go along the lines of "Hide main weapon when sheathed" and "Hide sub weapon when sheathed" Unchecking them will return your weapons to always visible. I'm not sure if those two check boxes will ever turn themselves back on in the future but it hadn't happened after the first time, atleast leading up to TU1.
