    Thanks to the RE Framework team working overtime to fix it, you can now load Reshade in MH Wilds. Previously the game would instantly crash on startup if it detected the Reshade dll, because Capcom sucks.

    Please make sure to read my install instructions in the description carefully, it's pretty simple to set up. Do keep in mind that the current version of RE Framework bypasses Capcom's anti-tamper crap, but only temporarily. According to them, after 30min-1 hour the game will crash and require booting back up. They're looking into how to fix this.

    this is really awesome! Is there a way to easily make it so you have to hold the button to show the HUD? Or is that like an entirely different mod that'd need to get made? I like to keep it off for aesthetics but sometimes need to check the minimap or HP or Weapon status. and is possible to have the mod exclude the item bar when it's set to dynamic?

      You'd have to set something up with AutoHotkey to do that, but I'm awful with that program so I'd be of no use. And unfortunately no, the item bar is all part of the same HUD shader.

      Also is the mod still working for you? I had two reports yesterday that it's not working, but I can't double check since I had to refund the game (was nearly unplayable for me on my system).

    I think TU 1 broke the toggle, probably jus me, please fix if its broken, I like this toggle

    I tested your mod and I’m getting this kind of error message. I have never downloaded ReShade in the first place, I just placed your mod in the root folder and in the RE root folder, and once I launched the game, I got the error
    When I press CTRL, nothing happens either.

      What do you mean by,
      and in the RE root folder
      You shouldn't be putting anything into RE Framework's folder. You just download my zip, then RE Framework's MHWILDS.zip, and extract both to the root folder.

      In your Zip folder, there's the ShaderToggler that needs to be placed in the root folder of MHWILDS—that part I understand. Then, there's the REframework folder in your Zip, which contains the plugin folder. When I add it, this folder automatically merges into my existing REframework folder in the root of MHWILDS, and your plugin files get added to it. Once everything is in place, I launch the game, and this error appears

      PS : Do you mean that my existing RE Framework folder, which already contains my mods, shouldn't be there? And that I should first install your RE Framework and then add my mods to that folder afterward?

      None of the files should conflict if you already had RE Framework installed, but I can't speak for any other mods you were using. If you got a prompt to overwrite when placing my files then there would almost definitely be issues. Otherwise I'm not sure what could be causing those errors. IMGUI is just the UI that Reshade uses. 

      Otherwise, ShaderToggler.ini should be in the root, RE Framework folder in the root which merges with your existing install. It puts the remaining Reshade/ShaderToggler-related files into RE Framework's plugins folder.

      I succeeded, but when I try to add extra effects with ReShade or a simple ReShade mod that adds effects, your mod disappears. No matter if I load it before or after your mod, none of the keys work to toggle the HUD anymore.
      Where could the issue be coming from? Is it not possible to use ReShade to make some visual adjustments without your mod getting disabled or stopping working?

      It sounds like you're replacing my files with someone else's. If you want to use Reshade effects you just drop in the new reshade-shaders folder and select the preset ini, don't replace Reshade.ini or the dxgi.dll

    No matter what I do I always get the Errors: dxgi - Failed to load.
    I had Special K and Reshade already installed but after removing Special K and all other mods it still gives me the same error. Any solutions?

      My mod includes a dxgi.dll, did you replace it with another install of Reshade? That would be the issue. Don't overwrite any of my files or you're gonna break the mod.

    No matter what I do I always get the Errors: dxgi - Failed to load.

    I just realized some HUD related to the weapons (like the longsword gauge meter or when you extract the buffs with the kinsect) might appear if you only use this mod to toggle the HUD but don't hide them in the game settings, might be another shader?

      Ah, I'm sorry but I've had to refund the game for now because the performance was almost unplayable on my PC, I won't be able to add that to the toggle until I re-buy the game later on.

    I found a issue, Can't use newest reshade version with this mod, Is there any possible you can fix this? or solution thanks!

      Yeah because you're trying to overwrite the add-on version of Reshade with the regular version. Why do you need to update it anyway? The latest version only fixed some minor bugs unrelated to MHWilds.
