    Helped a lot to get this running well on a laptop with a 2070. It's not great perf, but it's actually playable. Thank you for sharing the config.

      I wouldnt say 30fps everywhere, the frame drops when in bases where there's a lot of npc but it's playable enough for me during fights LOL
      I run it on lowest everything and 720p

    I just have a poor old 1070 to work with but figured this would maybe get me some performance, being as how close the GPUs are, but somehow im still only pushing around 20-25fps, with no FPS gain from the default Lowest preset (yes it is read-only). I did however make an addition of what a previous commenter said and tried out
    RenderWorkerTrheadPriorityAboveNormal=Enable
    and somehow, it did jump from 20-25 to 38-47, which was a huge gain and just borders for me on making it playable.

    This was all done in camp so whose to say if it'll hold up in the field but hey im finally getting somewhere with framerate.

      The camp is low key a framerate nightmare so you might be good to go

      Have you checked your nvidia settings and made sure your monster hunter wilds profile settings are set to "application controlled"? It might also be worth looking into overclocking your gpu.

      Be careful with GPU overclocking, I had a pretty high OC and turns out it was the cause of my crashes, Since I disabled it I've had no more surprise crashes.

      I should test out my 1070. it hasn't seen much use as the tvpc lol

      if it makes you feel better my Intel A770 reports back sub 20 fps. so this kind of makes me wanna try my 1070 lol

      Try this one - took me from 30 to nearly 60 on a 1070ti. No idea if it will be enough for a 1050ti but worth a shot https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/234

      These two also gave a couple extra fps

    i have a 7 year old pc rocking a r5 1600x and 1070. before the config, i was hovering around 25 fps in camp and 20-30 depending on the locale. after the new config and the wind simulation, i am having almost consistent 30 fps during hunts with some dips in areas with lot of small monsters or effects. this is very playable now and i cannot thank you and the other guy enough for making this config and lua file.
