For those who want to see it toggling on and off for themselves, it's a bit more work due to how the graphics settings are loaded.

Once you have loaded into your lobby, change the value on line 6:

    graphicsSetting:call("set_LensDistortionSetting", 2) -- 0 means on, 2 means off

Save the script file, use REFramework to reset the scripts and then make a graphics change e.g. set textures from high to medium.

Once you apply your settings, you'll see the lens distortion update.

Use Disable Post Processing Effect instead if the author doesn't update the mod in the near future. It has an identical setting to disable the lens distortion effect and it still works without error in TU1 (at least on my end).

This seems to happen randomly when first loading the game depending on what other mods you have installed. Letting the game load and then using "Reset scripts" within the REFramework overlay sorts it out but yeah the Disable Post Procesing Effect mod seems to handle this better.

Does this mod kill anybody elses performance? im running smooth 70-80 fps without when I put this ont the game drops to 40fps when fighting in some areas especially fighting monsters like Arkveld, or even when theres a bunch of people in the city the game just becomes a stutter hell. I really wanna use it because it fixes the blurrines of this game that I couldnt figure what causes but its just unplayable sadly.

    Im on a RTX4070 with a I7 13700kf and 32gb ram

For those who cannot get the mod to work :
Know that there is an alternative mod that also allows you to disable the Lens Distortion called Disable Post Processing Effects.

I am an idiot, I do not see the option to change it in the REF pane. What section is it under? Thought it be with the other stuff I have.

I still have no options for it ingame, yet I see it loaded in the list above.

It is called "Scriptrunner" or something, you should see it there. If you got an error on startup this error will be listed there as well, just hit reset scripts and it will load it up again without errors.

Does this mod not support ultra-wide 21:9 screens? I installed it and still noticed a fisheye effect.
But I'm not sure if it's because I enabled "Override FOV"?

What's the difference between this and the lens distortion option from Disable Post Processing Effects?

Do you get a slider in the ref menu with this? I can't tell if its a slider choice or using it means it is on.

So this mod is loaded yet I see no options for it in the below drop down for scripts loaded, what am I doing wrong? I sit somewhere else? I do have the disable post processing mod which I can alter in the REF menu but no lens distortion choice for this one.
