Thank you for all the attention and care you put into this mod! The fact that you churned out a Day 1 update is hugely respectable, especially considering how dense & varied the list of mod effects are to begin with. Its a major contributor to making the gameplay more comfortable & fun, so us being able to jump right back in so quickly is an enormous boon. Cheers, mate.
I've made a temporary patch removing PlayerStatusParam entirely for now. Don't have time to pinpoint the variable as I just woke up and leaving for work.
I have made a temporary version of "Impactful Skills (No animation speed Buff)" for TU1 that I use until the mod author comes back to update their mod. I haven't updated the in-game text as I suspect it will cause a black screen on launch. If you're willing to try, overwrite the contents of the original mod with this temporary fix as I have left the file out of the .zip.
The only other change I made is to Critical Eye and Defense Boost. This mod is still considered a cheat mod.
No, it works for all his skills that do not edit animation speed. Defense Boost and Critical Eye are just extra personal edits, but in the spirit of his mod.

I'm curious about how and what program you use to create the skilldata.user.3 file. I spent a lot of time on the holidays trying to figure out how to create that file, but I couldn't figure it out.

If you mean RE Engijne Pak Gui, you have to chose MHWs_STM_release.list.zst, then you cklick on add files and add all pak files from the MH2 main directory, then click on render tree and wait a moment.
I'm having an issue while looking at the new Mizu and Sho weapons to craft, it crashes everytime and I have no Idea what's causing it I'm hoping someone here knows since I can't find another forum talking about it :L I can hunt and play normaly just cant craft new weapons so weird bruh...
Right now I haven't updated the in-game skill tetxs. If you test it with Attack jewel 1 or fire elemental jewel 1 you will se that the elemental resiatcne increaes by 12 not by 6, so it works.
I am going to edit the skill texts but I need some time.

2. extract it twice. Name one folder “TU1 edit” Name the second folder “old mod edit”
3. ExtractSkill.msg.23 from STM\GameDesign\Text\Excel_Equip of TU1 if you haven’t already. Copy it to the "TU1 edit" folder from step 2
4. Copy the Skill.msg.23 of Andrest07 from this mod to the folder "old mod edit" from step 2
5. In both folders drag&drop the Skill.msg.23 to msg2json.bat Now you get a converted Skill.msg.23. I recommend to rename the one from the old mod of Andrest07 to something like Skill.msg.23old.json or so Open both at the best in Notepad++
6. Now you can read it and copy the text from the file of Andrest07 to the new TU1 one, you can also fix some errors or make your own edit
7. You need to convert it back if you are finished though. This step I haven’t figured out yet. Maybe we need to mark the json and the Skill.msg.23 and drag and drop both at the same time to json+msg2msg.bat
Try it out,I am sure you will understand it quickly
EDIT: I haven't fought Zoah and Mizu yet. If I get their weapons I try the original out and maybe buff the skills. I am a DB ninja, Zoa's weapon seems to add fixed damage. I can imagine that it could get op quickly if it triggers often due to DB's fast attacks.
I can confirm, I have compared the based files to your modded ones and have fixed the roar duration and tremor duration problems you were having. For the mod developer and anyone else savvy enough to follow along, you need to go into the "PlayerStatusParam.user.3" file with the MHWs editor (https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterwilds/mods/32), scroll to the bottom, and do the following:
1) Find DamageEarS_DurationTime and set the number to 2. 2) Find DamageEarL_DurationTime and set the number to 4. 3) Find DamageQuakeSS_DurationTime and set the number to 1. 4) Find DamageQuakeS_DurationTime and set the number to 3. 5) Find DamageQuakeL_DurationTime and set the number to 5.

I saw some people in the comments saying they don’t agree with the balance of your mod, but honestly, among all the gameplay tuning mods out there, if I’m just looking for something that doesn’t go overboard with the adjustments, then this mod is definitely my number one choice.
Exactly, the changes are more balanced than most people think. For example if you have +25 dmg boost or +65 from Resentment, this does not do much if your Greatsword has 1100 base damage.
However, it has at least a meaningful impact with this mod.
I can boost my hunting time aroind 1 till 2 minutes with this mod, which is imho great.
Been using same mods since before recent update. Tested all mods one-by-one after update caused many mods not to work. This mod causes persistent black screen at launch. Please update.
