PATCH 1.6 and Beyond Thank you for the support so far! This was my first mod ever so it's been pretty interesting so far ---------------------------------------------------- For patch 1.6 I intend to include new fixes that will improve the stability of the mod this includes - Tent Detections ( so the camera doesnt look bugged ) - Possibly new FPV features - And some cleaning up to do within the code, as well as some adjustments to settings - Other additions and stability Now patch 1.6 may take a while, I have been working on 2 new mods I'm not gonna reveal them yet, but both of them are about 50% done, they are looking pretty cool so far
I want to try to release these as more stable versions that don't have as many bugs because I'm not sure how much time I can commit to doing patches every couple days lol. --------------------------------------------------- PATCH 1.5 - [ NEW ] > Rewritten Code > Customizable Presets - Create, Save, Delete, Update Presets >Contextual Offset settings -Customizable offset for - aiming/focus mode - in combat >Persistent Saving
Is there a way to have the Camera not clip through the ground when not using "USE VANILLA BEHAVIOR"??? I have perfect Camera presets for my game but the only issues is when I look up, travel down hill, my camera clips into the terrain under the world itself instead of adjusting to not go below ground level.
I'd like a hotkey togglable option to keep the camera always in the same direction as the head ("snap to head"?), same as for the Rise mod. It'll be terrible for gameplay but fun for immersion. (So for example if a move would spin the hunter in a circle, like Dragon Piercer, then the camera should also spin in a circle). Thank you!
Ahh okay, thank you for the example! so basically a hotkey option to lock the cameras orientation onto the head joint? this way it follows where you're looking. got it. I'll add this feature in the next patch :)
You got it! So you'll be in a sense seeing what the hunter actually sees each time they execute a move. True Charge Slash would spin the hunter in a verticle circle.
Can we have in this mod the ability to disable zooming in when you're under a monster? Best example would be Gore Magala. There is another mod "Disable Near Fade and Camera Zoom In" but I think it is in conflict with your mod that's why that mod is not working on my end. Another mod similar to yours is confirmed to be in conflict with that mod.
One update i'd love to see, though it wouldt even work well, is if the camera tracks the direction the, so whenever you get his the camera jut goes crazy from the hunter rag dolling, though i wouldn't expect it to be easy to make happen, would be cool though! Though id also imagine the motion sickness it would induce would be wacky
Its not a bug, there's an option to turn the head off and on in the re-framework settings It disappears because, then the head was still there, there was a lot of clipping into the camera (in fpv) if you're not talking fpv then maybe it is a bug
[Edit]: I found the context-specific controls for Aim Mode. There are just three issues:
#1. There isn't a context-specific offset section for walking around in base-camp, which moves to a different position compared to walking in the field. #2. The option for recognising when the hunter is in the tent doesn't work... so offsets apply in the tent and the mod option to make it use vanilla camera doesn't work (I see others have already mentioned this). #3. Offsets also apply to the Hunter Profile camera for some reason.
yeah im working on the context for tent, and I see that hunter profile doesnt work either, I've been busy recently and havent had much time for those fixes, if you want a quick solutions you can bind the mod's toggle key to something easy and disable the mod when in these instances
there's an FPV preset that has a good offset configuration to place the camera with the head, you may have applied the first person mode setting on a preset that has the camera on a different offset, you can fix this by making sure first person mode is enabled, fixed view is enable and then adjust the offset to around 0,0,0 and make sure the joint is attached to the head. you may have to make some small tweaks on the y and z axis, but you want to keep x at 0. hope this helps

I think it's related to the last reframework update (the female sliders mod also has this issue)
Though id also imagine the motion sickness it would induce would be wacky
