Increase the number of monsters that can spawn in the world.

What is this:
Increase the spawn count of monsters that will spawn in the world. This ensures there's always a variety of monster to hunt in environment link. It's also fun to be fighting multiple monsters at a time. Arena schedule is not modified.

Monster specie limit per map changed from 1~2 to 4
Normal Monster (all monsters that can spawn in a map minus apex) per map limit changed from 2~4 to 16
Apex Monster spawn weight change from 5~100 (based on season) to 100 with additional 50 weight per 60 min interval
Swarm Monster (e.g. multiple Kut-Kus in scarlet forest or multiple Balahara in windward plains) spawn weight unchanged
Many Monster (e.g. a pack of Doshagama) spawn weight unchanged
Battlefield Monster (e.g. Jinn Dahaad) spawn weight increased to 100 (though it still doesn't always spawn)
Tempered Monster spawn chance increased by 50%

This mod does work in multiplayer environment link. In theory, only the host of the link requires the mod, but seems to be more stable if everyone have the mod.

If you don't see a lot of monsters, try resting once so the schedule is updated.

This mod only works for HR61+

For some unknown reason, when I try to edit the table for other HRs, it kind of just breaks, if I have time in future, I'll look into it a bit more.

Optional:
If you want to make the monster stay on the map longer, also download the Optional Monster Stay Longer file. This will change the monster from staying on the map for 30 min to a hour. I feel like this causes you to have more monster on the map at a given point in time, but I'm not sure.

Installation:
1. Download and Install latest version of Reframework
2. Enable LooseFileLoader in your reframework setting
3. Extract the mod into your wilds folder

The final directory should look like thisMonsterHunterWilds

FAQ:
The mod/game broke after the game updated!
  • It's very likely for update to break this mod, especially TUs, please wait for the author to update the mod
I uninstalled the mod, but there's still a lot of enemies everywhere?
  • The current environment data is saved in your save, just rest once with the mod removed and it'll be back to normal
I saved an investigation but there's a lot of monster in the investigation too!
  • Investigation is saved with the current environment data, so if you have a lot of monsters on the map when saving the investigation, you'll get the same list of monsters in your investigation quest
The mod is not working???
  • The mod only works if you are HR61+, also make sure you don't have another mod overwriting the files this mod touches. Make sure the files are placed in the right location. Try resting once so the schedule is updated.
