Hey don't know if it's a known issue but when downloading the lance variant you get the files for the insect glaive. Hope it can be fixed cause the Artian Lance is not really the prettiest.
I love these models and having them in the game, but I have a few complaints.
First, the gear spinning sound effect and sparks that come of said gears still remains. Second, i would prefer if the gunlance replaced the G.Arkveld gunlance instead. I was unable to layer this using wesslen's weapon layering mod because the Alatreon gunlance only replaces the reinforced version but the layering mod can't target that one specifically.
If you can't edit out the gears/sparks then the best bet would probably be to replace the non-reinforced versions (since they don't spin) which could then be used in conjuction with a layering mod.
Will make it go to artian weapon lvl 1 and add a part for layered weapon in the description. And edit the "sound pack" to another one, like the gravios one (not the G.Arkveld one cause this one have chain sounds i think?..)
I will just set it to lvl 1-5 (I think I got it working) and change the sound list and vfx to lvl 1-2 instead of lvl 5. So you will have it at lvl 5 and you can layer it on any other weapon (at least many of them)
EDIT: the latest update seems to be missing sheathed weapon states. For example, the lance would be a bit shorter and not have a visible purple glow, and then extend and glow when wielded. This worked fine in the previous version that only replaced Max lvl artians.
Yup, for the emission, it worked cause lvl 5 artian weapon was doing it by default, but I don't know how to do it for other lvl.
For the emission, in World, I don't know if it was like this. I did in the previous update cause lvl 5 weapons did it by default.
And for the shorter version, it was shorter for some weapons but not all cause i didn't use that weapon in world so i didn't test it. I will try to do it for a later version, can you tell me which weapon need to be shorter? (shorter just because part of it move, or in general scale too?)
I just checked all the Alatreon weapons in world, looks like all of them except for dual blades, switch axe, charge blade and heavy bowgun change in some way when unsheathed. (not counting the heavy bowgun having a folding frame)
I couldn't quite tell if hammer changes when unsheathing, but the spikes change when you hold a charge to lv3.
So, i don't need to change the DB, charge, switch, hbg? except if i change the no emit when sheathed?
So i need to change: Rod, LBG, LS (already done I guess cause that was the one my friend want), HH, Bow, SnS (done already i think?), lance, gunlance, GS (already done too), hammer(?)?
I will "farm" to craft every alatreon weapons in world to see what to do. And I'm not sure about what I have done in wilds for HBG and LBG... any infos for these one?

Just checked the HBG, it's completely black and is not folded when sheathed like it should be.
LBG is the same as everything else in that it isn't changing, the purple bowstring in the back is supposed to become taut and go in kind of a V shape when held.
I also checked the old version of the mod and the HBG model/colors load in properly though it still doesn't fold. and the LBG's bowstring also doesn't change.
so i did edit the lance and gunlance, hbg and lbg.. ls, sns, hh, hammer, ig, gs, bow, db was already right i think? switch axe and charge blade, i don't know if i need to do anything?
do i need to remove the emit when the weapons are on your back?
I don't think so, the only one that doesn't glow at all (in world) when sheathed is the longsword, because the glowy bits are only exposed when unsheathed.
The other ones either have all the glow all the time, or have some glowy bits hidden while sheathed but still glow on some parts.
the hbg problem seem more like loading issue.. try preview another weapon using the forge then quit the forge and you will see the full black texture and if you reload by going in the camp it will load.... i will do some research to fix this (later) and i will post the V5.2.
hi, thank you for doing this mod I really appreciate it cause I love the Alatreon scythe LS. I have a slight issue with the Ls, there is a weird noise when you unsheathe the weapon, whether it be normal unsheathing or the special sheathe. hope you can fix this. - I have no audio mod installed - I have not checked other weapons for this audio update: - I tested without any other mod installed except fluffy mod manager and reframe, still there is a sound
its a squeaky kind of audio. kindoff like a mouse squeak. i unintalled the mod and tried out the base un-modded artian weapon and it doesnt make that noise.
Edit:- I tried with rarity 6 longsword the noise is also there. I also tried the dark and red version of the Longsword. The sound is there aswell I tried bow and greatsword there is no noise
i verified the integrity of the game file and the noise is still there
Hii, so i've done everything as its said, I got the Reframework, fluffy, and the mod enabeled, Im using a rarity 6 artian weapon maxed out, BUT the skin doesn't change. Does anyone know how do I make it work-. Thankss
I tried long sword, but I don't know, I got no other mods that could overlap with artian long sword- I also trie the greatsword and it doesn't either (for me)

for the lbg.. yep cause artin don't have it by default.. i will try to fix it
hbg, what did you test? the allvariants or the solo one?

Literally the only "problem" is that the IG is missing its sheathed state.
