A InnoSetup Script/Setup that backups Monster Hunter Wilds Save files to My Documents, that can be restored.
Features:
- Backups Save Files
- Can create multiple backups
- Restores saves from a list of existing backups, with dates
- Asks if you want to ovewrite the current save files, if they exist
- Can create a shortcut on the Desktop and Start Menu for easy access to save files
- Restores saves from a list of existing backups, with dates
- When uninstalling, it will not remove the existing backup files, only the shortcuts to the backup folder, this is to prevent mistakes such as losing save backups.
Installation:
There is no install (only backing up and restoring save files), run the application everytime you want to backup or restore save files.
Backup Files Location:
My Documents\#Video Game Saves\Monster Hunter Wilds
or
Windows Key+R: shell:Personal\#Video Game Saves\Monster Hunter Wilds\
PS: The reason i've decided to include a # at the start is so that windows sorting shows this folder at the top.
Notes:
The file "remotecache.vdf" will not be part of the backup to prevent issues, since this file is related to Steam cloud.
Issues:
Systems with multiple Steam account are not supported, the Utility will only backup (supposedly) the files from the SteamID with the lower number (possibly due to sorting).
