Update: I’ve disabled Frame Generation, but you can enable it from the in-game settings. Also, I’ve fixed some possible crashes—I’ll clear that out below.

This is NOT a "low settings mod." The config is based on the lowest preset, but you can change graphics settings in-game (Low to Ultra), and the tweaks will still work. These optimizations are external—they adjust settings that can’t be changed from the in-game menu.
Resolution: If you want to change it from 1080p, open the config file, find the resolution setting, change it to your monitor’s resolution, and save the file.
Important: Set the config file to Read-Only so the game doesn’t override tweaks. But if you experience crashes or want to tweak settings frequently, you can uncheck Read-Only anytime.

What This Mod Tweaks - CPU Optimizations:

    • ParallelBuildCommandList=Enable → Enables multi-threaded rendering.
    • ParallelBuildProcessorCount=8 → Uses up to 8 threads for 8 threads CPU try changing according to your CPU threads like 12 etc.
    • Other settings that falls within GPU section but effects volume etc helps in reducing CPU usage further by reducing background effects in game.
    🔹 GPU Optimizations:

    • Fog_Enable=False → Removes fog effects for a clearer image and better FPS.
    • SSR_Enable=False → Disables Screen Space Reflections to improve performance.
    • SSSSS_Enable=False → Turns off subsurface scattering (better FPS, affects skin rendering).
    • ShadowCacheEnable=False → Disables shadow caching (better for low VRAM GPUs).
    • UseLowResolutionSDF=True → Uses low-resolution shadow maps for performance.
    • UseLowWaterSimulation=True → Lowers water physics calculations.
    • UseLowWindSimulation=True → Reduces wind effect calculations.
    • VRSSetting=Performance → Enables Variable Rate Shading for better FPS.
    • TransparentBufferQuality=LOWEST → Lowers transparency effects to improve performance.
🔹 Frame Generation Disabled (You Can Enable In-Game):

    • EnableFrameGeneration=False (Disabled by default, but you can turn it on in settings).

    • FilmGrainEnable=false → Disables film grain effect.
    • LensDistortionSetting=false → Removes lens distortion.
    • GodRayEnable=false → Turns off god rays.
    • LensFlareEnable=false → Disables lens flare.
    • EffectVolume=0 → Lowers post-processing effect calculations.

Game might look slightly different because fog and object blur are disabled, making the image clearer. But this does NOT downgrade main graphics settings—it just removes unnecessary effects. On high-end PCs, you might not see a big FPS boost, which is expected since these tweaks mostly help mid/low-end GPUs and CPUs.

Again, this mod is different from in-game settings—you can change graphics settings however you like, and the tweaks will still work.

I test the latest games on budget GPUs, provide performance optimizations, and share guides on fixing game errors & installing frame generation mods. If you're into gaming on a budget, consider subscribing!

As other people wrote, these settings can be changed in the game anyway, and the rest have already been added to the game by default.

But the graphics settings (GPU) really give a bunch of 5-20 fps, I manually set them in the game, and with the framegen the change from 120 to 150, but still visually the game changes, slightly worse...

I will also note that the first time I added this file, the game stopped starting, COMPLETELY, crashes immediately after launch. I cut off the mods, restored the files, deleted the shader cache and the settings file, nothing helped. But when I restarted the PC 2 times everything was fixed...

anyway to change things in the config file? I want framegen on but it doesn't apply despite me changing it from off to on in the config.

I took a look at the config and compared to what I had. All of the CPU changes you list are already set by default by the game on my end. No changes needed to be made. GPU changes were good though.

    1. Delete the currently applied config file.
    2. Start the game once, change the settings to your liking, and then close the game.
    3. Open the newly generated config file and copy each of the changes pinned to this page, then use ctrl+F to find and paste them.
    4. Save it and check the read-only file.
    5. Start the game and you won't have any major issues.

I'm using a translation, so it may be difficult to understand.

Do I put Off or False for MaxFPS if I want uncapped frames?

How can I modify the texture quality in the “config.ini” file? I would like to be able to change it, the only way I have to do it is unchecking the “read-only” but that modifies the whole file again. could you help me, thanks?

added all of this settings to my file manually except UsingIndepentRenderWorker=Enable and cpu affinity on realtime on rog ally and it did make things run better
