is there any method to edit daily abilities and normal food abilities by daily in the same mod? I wanted to have more possibilities without having to close the game all the time.
If you want to edit the sequence or enable/disable any daily skill, here I recommend you another mod called Daily Food Skill Utility, which is also on Nexus. But apparently, it requires good english reading. If you can wait for days, I would like to make a translated version and publish it in my Chinese chating group. I can also send you one copy if you like.
Just got this mod today and this is how it works for those whose not yet figured it out:
(You don't need to put the Meal Editor in the nativePC folder, you just need create a folder and put the saved file there like so "...\nativePC\common\equip\cat_skill")
Now to edit the Food skill of your choice:
E.g. Say you want to have Felyne Booster (Daily Skill), Felyne Temper (Daily Skill) and Felyne Slugger ( Courage x6)
- You just swap a skill that requires x2 colour/category to activate that skill such as Felyne Polisher, Acrobat, Groomer and so on.
- Say you want to swap Felyne Polisher (x2 Red/Courage) to Felyne Slugger (x6 Red/Courage) - Double click on the Felyne Polisher and it should appear on the first box then do the same with Felyne Slugger for the second box - Click 'Swap' then you should see under the Courage column that Felyne Polisher now needs x6 Courage and Felyne Slugger only needs x2 Courage - Now choose another 2 food skills that requires x2 of that color to be activated. Do the same instructions above to get F. Booster and F. Temper - Save the file and put it in the nativePC folder ("...\nativePC\common\equip") - Now when you go to the in-game canteen, when you have x2 Courage/Red it should give Felyne Slugger instead of Felyne Polisher.
I hope this at least made it a bit clearer for those whose confused.
Guys stop saying this mod does not work. It requires Stacker's Loader to be updated. After that the mod requires no maintenance as the meal skills file has not been touched by the updates and still works.
Would be usefull if the mod actually says it requires Stacker's. EDIT: okey it does say that but i had to read it 3 times to notice it. Most mods that i know that require it have a pull down menu just like the 'change log' that says 'requirements'. Its much more clear and the stackers mod is linked in there.

what i don't get are the differences between
2X, 4x, 6x and Daily.
is that how common they return?
is how much of that type of food you need to activate that skill thats important when you doing your custom meals in the game
