This is a Jotaro Kujo Voice replacer mod. It changes voice clips related to most type of interactions in game (attack, receive damage, eating, quest failure, gestures, etc) to those from Jotaro Kujo from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.
It replaces Male voice 10 by default ( file: pl_act_vo_m_10_m.nbnk ) BUT you can use ItsBurpee’s MHW Voice Changer tool to replace the voice file of your liking.**
** Voice clips for each voice file are handled differently from one file to another, so renaming the voice files won’t really work without sounding really messed up and random in-game (which could be funny in its own right, lol).
As any voice replacer mod for this game, it needs Stracker’s Loader to work
Vortex or any mod manager:
•Make sure Stracker’s Loader is installed correctly first
•Download the mod through the manager of your choice and follow the specific instructions for that application.
Manual installation
•Make sure Stracker’s Loader is installed correctly first
•Copy the nativePC folder included in the main file
•Find the MHW main folder (“C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World” by default)
•Paste the nativePC folder in the game folder. Don’t worry, both folders (the one in the mod and the one of the game folder) will combine. It won’t erase the original one
Vortex or any mod manager:
•Follow the specific instructions for your mod manager of choice
Manual uninstallation:
•Delete the file “pl_act_vo_m_10_m.nbnk” (or any it may has been transformed into if you used the Voice Changer tool) from the directory “...\nativePC\sound\wwise\Windows”
Some voice clips are bound to sound out of place, especially with DLC gestures. That’s due to the way the game’s engine handles these voice clips in each situation. There will be a small trade-off for adding more life to your hunter’s voice.
As of version 0.9, there’s some polish need to be done regarding the volume of certain audio clips, but a more polished version of this mod will be uploaded later on (version 1.0).
