      Yes you need the app to use this, as a .ct file is just a xmb file that tells cheese engine how to do a thing.

   yeah as of april 2024 this no longer works I think. same error as those who commented prior when I ran the basic auto update script:
   
   Fetching Base Addresses... 
   define(SAVEPOINTER,ERROR TABLE NEEDS UPDATE) 
   
   honestly a shame because this was the only mod I found that could possibly edit hunter and palico names.

   so for me when i click basic auto update the window pops up and says this:
   Fetching Base Addresses... 
   define(SAVEPOINTER,ERROR TABLE NEEDS UPDATE) 
   
   what do i do?

   Hi there, I'm totally new to Cheat Engine so I might be doing something wrong. But when I click the Basic Update (my names aren't showing) I get this pop-up. Does the mod need to be updated? Or is there another way I can change this? I really want to rename my Palico.

   im not sure about this but i think after the ver. 15.20 update, the ct table doesn't work anymore. Correct me if im wrong please

      ct table is not showing the correct address anymore, but you can still manually change it with cheat engine i think

    This still works in 2023. just came back to the game after 4 years and changed my cringe as$ name I came up with when I was 16 hahaha
