   is this visible to other plays like a transmog or just me?

      Just you. Any mod will only be visible to you and people who also have it installed.
      
      Transmog is a bit different because it literally just forces whatever armor piece you choose to be set as your layered armor, which is a mechanic that's already in the game. It doesn't actually alter any game files.
