    So to expand on what LordChromus505 was talking about just below me, I'll explain how he changed the Impact Phial Value for anyone else that couldn't figure it out.

    First you'll need to grab MHW Editor, then download whatever version of this mod you're wanting to fix/use.

    Open MHW Editor, select open on the top left, navigate to the "Monster Hunter World\nativePC\hm\wp\wp09" file path, and open "wp09_param.w09p". If you don't have "File Name Extensions" checked under the view tab you will only see "wp09_param" which will work as well.

    Once there you're going to scroll all the way to the bottom, and look for the "Savage Axe Duration (Impact Phial) (Inverse Multiplier of Elemental Phial Duration)" cell. Once you find it, you're going to change the "data" column to 1 from the original 4.5. After that just hit save and check if it's working in game.

      Followed instructions and it did not work for me, Savage Axe still goes down normal time. :( Double checked the value was set to 1.

    the savage axe duration seems really short even for the supposed 6x duration its supposed to have.

    EDIT: after some testing, it appears that the impact phial multiplier has a max, and 9 which is what it has in the infinite mod, is too much apparently cause i got longer uptime with a multiplier of 4.5

    EDIT: I FOUND IT I CRAKCED THE CODE, turns out there is no cap or anything of the sort. The value listed as "impact phial duration multiplier" is mislabled, its not a multiplication. turns out its a division of the elemntal phial savage axe length. So in all of these mod variants the savage axe for elemental is being increased while the impact savage axe is being divided back to its default length resulting in zero effect for the impact phial.

    that means simply changing the impact phial value to 1 will fix impact phial savage axe for all the versions!

      The update doesn't have any files related to this weapon. They didn't touch the CB files, so it probably still works. When in doubt, just try and see if it works. The difference is noticeable, anyway.

      Hit me up if it doesn't work, and I'll try to figure out what's wrong.

    short question how do u get the file to modify it in the game folder and which program did u use? i tried changing it with the world editor but yeah didnt really work, i got stuck at the infinite loading screen

      It's pretty easy to edit a bunch of values yourself. I'll explain as concise as possible.

      1. To get the game files, you need to know which files you need first*, then use MHWNoChunk (Sectional Chunk Decompress Tool) to extract them from the chunk files in the game's directory (in the "chunk" folder).
      2. When you eventually find and extract the file or files you need, you need to edit them via MHW Editor depending on file. I used that, in order to create the "Longer Buff Durations" mods.
      3. Place it into NativePC in your game directory, with the directory order the file or files extracted in when you did the stuff in Step 1 above
      4. Mod should be loaded and be ready for testing

      *simply check other mods to see which files you want to use as base

    look, the duration of the buff of the sword and the shield at 4h is absurd, but the Savage Axe adds up like water, even without attacking, it must be buggy because at 3x it lasts normal

      I probably shouldn't have put 14400 into the Savage Axe values... I'm making it double the 3x version has. That means it's 6 times the usual amount. Shouldn't be as buggy this time.

    How does this work in regards to saveage axe mode? Would you still have to charge phials to expend them for SA?

      The phials are hard-coded, and all I did was to change the duration of buffs (that means no extra phials). Apart from some buffs lasting longer, the mechanics are the same.

    Anyone know if there's a mod similar to rise's Axe Hopper?

      That move seems to be directly tied to the Wirebug mechanic, which does not exist in World. So unless there is a mod that lets you jump, you won't really do such feats.

    Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but when I go to manually install this very cool mod, I don't see the "hm" or "wp09" any help or correction to point me in the right direction would be helpful, thank uoi.

      That's weird. Are you sure you are installing it right? The only thing you need to do is to extract it to your game directory. I already placed the mod in the relevant folder so it should be easy to install.

    May be whiny of me to ask but would it be possible to make a version that only affect the Blade and not the Shield?  Feel the shield becomes too long but before this mod I almost never used the Charged up blade because it just was too much trouble and didn't last long enough, I feel the x2 for the Blade works very well I find myself actually using it now that it lasts longer.

      It's really easy to edit the values yourself. Just get MHW Editor and open any of the "wp09_param.w09p" files from my mod with the editor. Find the lines that say "Phial Duration" and change it to 30 (default is 30 seconds of duration per phial when charging the shield, for a grand total of 150 or 180 seconds). Now go to "Sword Charge Duration" and set it to any value you want (in seconds). Both lines are under "W09p Params (5)" section.

      Also, no. I don't think you are whiny lol. I play without my own duration mods and yes, the CB sword buff lasts way less than the shield and it's a pain to constantly charge it. I'd probably be having a bigger headache if I wasn't using HunterPie (shows buff durations).
