For those who are getting the "Unable to find color information in exe" message, the plugin is working correctly. There is a bug with Stracker's Loader right now (that doesn't affect everyone for some reason) where it will try and load plugins twice. The way I find the colors in the exe is by searching for the bytes of the first color, and then editing from there. Since it runs twice, the first run overwrites the bytes it used to find the location in the first place, leaving the second run unable to find the location and then failing. This is fine though, as the first run still works, and your changes should appear in game.
it work when i use with mod manager but if i try to change the preset it doesn't work, even by installing it manually in the game folder and changing the preset nothing change
So I've installed the mod, I've put it in the correct folder, and I have the rainbow pigment, but the sliders arent showing up. Did i miss up somehow or do i have to reinstall strackers(even though its already up to date) or something?
I don't believe this mod adds sliders to the rainbow pigment, I believe you need to use the provided "JSON" files along with the plugin to have the presets automatically applied, with 0 way to edit it in-game on the fly.
While I believe a mod to add an in-game slider to the rainbow pigment would be a better mod, I do not believe there is any realistic way to do so, unfortunately.
@DarkestSoulVoid: Unless I'm blind as a bat, the description doesn't mention the modified Rose armor at all. By default, the Rose armor's undyeable sections are cream, whereas in the example they're black.
can anyone make video or something to instal it ? i already extract to folder MHW but i check it on layered armor setting, i can't find rainbow or something like it.
Hi, sorry to bother you the plugin works perfectly fine, but when starting the game a Stracker's Loader window pops up saying "Custom Rainbow Pigment: Unable to find color in exe." Idk if this is supposed to happen or not the only things i got install atm are Stracker's Loader and Performance Booster and Plugin Extender.
getting the same thing, and i have stacker and plugin up to date,i just reduce the window showing it and everything work, but still telling you just in case
Probably just gonna make a pinned post about it, but it should be functioning correctly. If you ignore the message and go in-game, you should see your edited pigment.
They will see whatever is on their end, likely the default values. The effect is only clientside (as you may notice, everyone's rainbow manages to be sync'd up, which would be incredible otherwise).

Question, can the colors be edited in a way its only two slightly different colors for example? i think that would make for some nice effects also.
