If you have other packs installed as well as this one, the quest loader currently has a quest cap of around 500, so if you have another large pack that adds 100+ quests then it is not currently compatible with this and might crash your game on startup if you exceed the limit.
The rest of the "speed" quests are all under the 3-Star Category. The overall concept is as follows for these quests. >speed is increased by a hand-picked value per monster >intended to be a high intensity battle with the monster where stopping to heal is a less viable option than Health Augment >monsters more responsive to your attacks
To achieve these goals the following parameters were put in place with the intention of giving the monsters a new identity and arsenal of combos without being too insane
>Monsters deal less damage in proportion to their speed Monster with 10% more speed will deal slightly less damage, Monster with 20% more speed will deal far less damage roughly. Monsters that have moves that do not obey the time multiplier's rules are balanced around turning those moves into combos with less ways to escape ex: Fatalis' fireball that sticks to the ground the delays the explosion.
>Another new Multiplayer Modifier, this time giving these new MR3 quests a hefty damage bonus of about 10% in duo and 20% in 4 player to the monsters attacks to balance it out for 2-4 players. danger in solo play comes from being comboed 3-4 times danger in multiplayer comes from being comboed 2-3 times
>Multiplayer modifier also lowers multiplier for stun/status/partbreak slightly compared to precious single-monster quests (3 star category only) Multiplayer hunts balanced as if they were solo ended up being a tiresome chase sequence, this will allow slightly easier lockdown of the monster while also giving solo-blunt weapon teams a chance at some good KOs and trips still. Status modifiers are only slightly lowered.
>Monsters have decreased defense in order to allow Health Augment to really shine anywhere from 20-40% extra damage depending on how fast the monster is, to put a focus more on staying in combat and healing with some attacks between dodges as opposed to stopping to sheathe and healing using items
>Balancing per-weapon is difficult, not every weapon will have the same openings/opportunities weapons like DB and IG have an easy time with this new hit-and-dodge combat and are a blast to play solo and in multi, other slower weapons like GS or Lance have less openings, but certain moves are more advantageous with the new speeds. ex: tackling over and over with slugger GS in order to score a KO and hit a 3k TCS or relying more or Lance's flying clutch counter in order to constantly give chase to the monster and weaken it for teammates
>Clagger, exhaust, drooling still present Im choosing to leave these options untouched and let people use anti-clagger mods in their own separate download(linked below), instead of forcing it. As for Exhaust- I'm choosing to leave it in for the time being. Exhaust, Partbreak trips, and are all affected by the speed multiplier also so things will be downed on the floor for less duration and attacks from exhausted monsters is still sped up. https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/5595 - Use this mod if you wish to remove clagger from the game, it comes highly recommended for this quest pack especially with the new quests, really helps keep the tempo of battle. However you will miss valuable Tenderizing opportunities.
>Rewards largely the same rewards you are already accustomed to
>Bugs and Glitches PLEASE! I have tested each one multiple times and have triple checked all files, but I almost always miss something, please submit a bug report or leave a comment if you find ANYTHING wrong. It will be fixed every weekend until there are no more bugs. -Traditional Chinese translations for new quests done, thanks AGAIN to zxcke123 for the wonderful work!

I just tried this out last night, and I ran into an odd thing. I was fighting in one of the AT Nergignate quests this mod adds, and Whenever Nergi dropped any materials, if I picked it up, it just said 0x---------, and Didn't add anything to my inventory or to the materials box. Also when I finished the quest, I didn't get the option to carve him. Did I do something wrong with the install or is this just a thing since Nergi doesn't have a MR form? But overall, I love the mod! It gives me all new things to work towards in the game now!
That is a bug that as far as I know I can't fix without putting them in the HR category, which I didn't want to do Unfortunately it won't be fixed, though, but its harmless
I have downloaded this through the vortex mod manager and all the quests were set as completed. Is doing it through the vortex mod manager the problem?
nope, quest completion status is stored in the Save File, and I would not feel comfortable touching your save data just for the completion sticker! You just gotta keep track of it all yourself, I have a quest checklist google doc. in the home page description but I think its missing the latest 5-6 quests added
i installed everything correctly but when i go check the gathering hub and the boards i cant find any of the quests? I have performance booster and stracker both the most recent update
An update earlier this year made it so that if you have CreamAPI installed, you have to update that as well for custom quests to work properly Other than that im not sure, you could join the modding MH discord and post your install for double checking? but otherwise it should work fine no matter what language your game is in
Hey incredible mod, always used it back in the day and i see you changed the difficulty to be on paar with fatalis gear. I really liked it when i still could do high rank quests etc. back in the day for farming purposes with new character's. Is there any way i can modifie your files to work in hr/lr or is it as simple as downloading an old version and replacing single quests ?
Must have been a different mod, these quests have always been Master Rank and yeah you can edit them however you like with the Custom Quest Editor from the MHW modding discord and a rough list of the quests are in the description as well as a discord inv link
Did anyone notice the quest list lagging (as in, reducing FPS) when dealing with it? This wasn't an issue before, but I don't remember how "before" that was. If I fiddle with the list (like switching pages) fast enough, I can reduce my FPS from 144 all the way to single digits. This is the only mod that causes this, since disabling it fixes this issue. I didn't try installing it without the plugins, however. Could it be related to the plugin that is included in the quest pack?
It's not a huge deal, but still very annoying, since it makes the quest list UI borderline unusable if you are used to posting things very fast (because you memorized which quest is where). For reference, I wasn't using any other custom quest mods while testing, so I'm fairly sure this mod is causing the lag. No clue why, though.
The game is in English, yes. Voice language is Japanese, if that's relevant. Funny enough, this wasn't an issue before (a while ago), so I'm wondering if it could be related to some ass-backwards thing like Nvidia GPU drivers. I'm not even on the latest version (which is 572.42), funny enough. I'm still on 566.14.
I currently have 70 different mods, and I'm 100% sure this is the mod that is causing issues somehow (I tested multiple times). I only enabled Stracker's Loader, Performance Booster and MHG Quest Pack on Mod Organiser 2, and all the quest tabs except Investigations lag the game when clicked and if I scroll through the pages after loading the quests. This happens for both the lite version and the full version. The FPS drop only happens while changing pages.
I'll try to install manually and see if the problems still persist or not. I'll edit once I do it. Maybe it's caused by MO2, somehow.
Edit about 10 minutes later: Yeah. It's something to do with MO2. I installed the said three things (Stracker's, Performance and the quest pack) by themselves and launched the game without MO2, and it worked. There is no lag whatsoever. Maybe the load order is messing things up somehow? Hmmm... I'll update once I figure it out.
Edit about 15 minutes later: I can't believe it took me a grand total of about 20 minutes to figure out what was causing the lag. It was Stracker's Loader all along. Apparently, I set it to DEBUG mode earlier, so the terminal was spamming QuestLoader lines over and over and over again. Me changing the pages must have been making it worse somehow, which was causing a severe FPS drop (from 144 to 13, if I scroll fast enough).
TLDR; Long story short: Make sure Stracker's Loader is NOT set to DEBUG mode. Keep it at ERROR mode, so the console won't lag your game out when fiddling with the quest lists. Changing DEBUG to ERROR solved the issue. Turns out, it was user error all long, lol. Final confirmation: 75 mods loaded including -MHG-, and no issues. I feel stupid.
All language files are included in the either download, if you downloaded the newest version of this mod then the issue is likely your Strackers/Plugin extender install, make sure those are updated as well!
Is it possible for a 4p scaled solo hunt for everything including vanilla and your quests? as a optional downloads option, i wanted to use a 4p scaling for solo hunts but your mod already add/changes the em_difficulty file.
Edit: i just multiplied by the values on the mod page for each part, worst case i can just use your file from a new download again.
easiest option for this would be just lowering the Damage Output of your hunter using Flingtrainer, I think Unless your way works better! 4 player scaling is about 2.2-2.6 more HP etc, so setting your damage to 0.4 or 0.5 in that tool would give a similar effect for monster HP
i just multiplied Monster HP and Part HP, i didn't had enough patience to change the other 4 parameters. but it is working, i can feel the difference, the last time i played with that mod until about MR 2stars and it was hard, i'm going to create a new character to play again now that i finished the mods, i did just 3x HP and Part HP just to make my work simple.
this is the parameters according to the mod i wanted to use:
Multiplayer stats (index 169): 2.8x hp multiplier; 3x part HP; 2.8x monster's status buildup; 3x Monster's stun; 3x Monster's exhaust; 2.3x Monster's Mount For all monsters (including small monsters), except for Fatalis (normal 4p scaling, which is 2.6x).
Love your quest mods i just played like a few quests on a old character and i liked a lot, it was fun. your quests are like the reason i want to start a new game, can't wait to get there again on a new char

I just updated it today, hopefully it fixes your issue
