i dont usually comment, but i saw someone using this mod in AT velk sos today where every time they did a LS thing like spiritblade a shoutout happened and was absolutely fascinated by how the actual f*#@ they did that
10/10 mod btw i think i'll keep this one in mind for if i ever wanna mess with it LOL
I want to change my name, make it bigger or change its color, but the effect is not good. Sometimes it still shows its original string... I don't know how to do……:(
Is there a command that lets you print your own hunter's name or other people's names in a quest? I think I saw someone do exactly that a long time ago, but I can't find the commands for it.
I tried using <MSTR> to see if the Handler would call the Hunter with his/her name, but it only printed out empty space. There are commands that print out the "his/her" part depending on Hunter's chosen sex, but I couldn't find the command that would print the name out. Also tried searching for <HNTR> just in case, but no .gmd files had that.
Palicos use <MSTR> when talking to each other about their Hunter. They even reference Guild Card things, like the weapon shown on your GC. I sort of assume it prints out the name of the Hunter, but it didn't work for Handler.
I saw the other <LSNR> commands, too, when going through a lot of .gmd files while updating an old text mod.
Come to think of it, I wonder if <LSNR> would work by itself?
when I use it for auto shoutouts online, everyone's shoutout is the same as mine. I've make sure that I don't change the auto condition, could you tell me if I'm doing anything wrong?
yeah i know that and sadly there is no way to do it differently that happen when other ppl have not configure there shoutout and have the auto translate on iirc
I have found a way to have the auto shout out to be the game's default while you retain your coloured texts:
- Follow the guide and write your shout out as normal - Open the game - Go to Shout out to check if your texts are coloured (Both the top and bottom should be the same text here) - Press "Edit Shoutout" then press "Confirm" without changing anything - Close the game and remove the mod (remove the file name "text" at nativePC/common) - Reopen the game and check Shoutout to see if the text remain the same with the default being the game's default
If you read this creator, I would like this to be pinned/posted in the description of the mod. This will help a lot of people with this problem
Very nice and works like a charm. But sadly the auto shout-out doesn't work cause of that. G Even by reset it back to default. It doesn't pop up automatically anymore. Is there a way to fix it?
Nevermind i found out wat the problem was xD It only works when your in co-op with the shoutouts ^^ But sadly the auto shoutout turns everyone's text the same as mine.

Will update if I ever find it.
there is that but its only working in some specific text
<LSNR {He} {She}> sends <LSNR {his} {her}> regards. (witcher quest)
<LSNR {him}{her}> in <LSNR {his}{her}> (gallery)
