I tried and followed the steps but it didn't work I have strackers as well though. Honestly I don't need the mod that bad and it's already been 30min, I hope it works for everyone who wants it to.
Man. I have never been able to get any plugin loader to work with my game, but somehow run almost every mod here.
I don't have strackers, and I can still use the Roommates Tool, and every visual mod out there.
I really want some of these SharpPluginLoader mods, but my game just won't launch the .dll's. Not once in 4 years.
I've gotten the ReShadeInjector++ launcher to work, but that uses a whole seperate executable, just to launch reshade...
Does the game have to be set to DX11? Is there an ancient launch argument I've missed?
After 3 years of modding this game, it just seems like only 50% of mod users can even get strackers to launch properly. Trust me I'm not just putting them in the wrong place like a dumbass.
Btw I assume that after installing SharpPluginLoader and dotnet 8 all I need to do is download to vortex and through there is just like all other mods (install, enable, elevate, done). Please correct me if I'm mistaken.
Mod works perfectly, thanks! No idea if this is possible from a technical standpoint, but is there a way to build in functionality to toggle the weapon visibility, or maybe some way to view the weapon previews at the smithy?

I had a quick chat with Fexty (The plugin loaders creator), seem like a bug in the loader. An update to the plugin loaders is being worked on and this should be fixed on v0.03 when it comes out.
it keep crashing on my side... i'm playing with Mod Organizer 2 as mod manager i did some test to bring some help :)
→when i launch the game with the mod manager and SharpPluginLoader checked, it crash
→if i launch the game (from MO2) without checking SharpPluginLoader, but after copying SharpPluginLoader files into MHW folder, it don't crash, but it don't launch SharpPluginLoader window, so the mods don't work
→launching the game from MO2 with only StrakerLoader, SharpPluginLoader and your mods checked : CRASH
→launching the game from steam with only StrakerLoader, SharpPluginLoader and your mod files manually in MHW folder don't crash the game, and your mods work fine
→tried to add manually mod one by one, and had no problems...
so, in my case, it looks like an incompatibility between SharpPluginLoader and the mod manager, at least with MO2 ... I hope they will be able to fix something, your 2 mods interest me, but i'm not going to manually manage my mods to be able to use them ^_^'
Thanks for that, I use Fluffy Mod Manager. I don't think compatibility for MO2 is in the pipeline anytime soon for Sharp Plugin Loader, looking at their GitHub. I'll let them know anyway.

But there seems to be some problems with SharpPluginLoader - once the dll is injected while the game is running (or is it a modification of the dll? such as using the autosteam plugin or evoking RTSS) the game crashes, and I thought you might be able to help with feedback. I didn't learn C#, so I didn't submit an issue to github. thanks!
Hey friend! You could try the mod manager (狩技mod盒子) developed by a Chinese mod author, it was first developed for mhw and now supports more games. I think it's very handy because it has built-in tables for weapons and clothing, and modifying those items is very simple; and it's easy to install mods - you know just have a folder for nativepc.
I know this is a late reply, but I was able to figure out how to use MO2 with Sharp Plugin Loader following the instructions on the "Better Matchmaking mod page:
Does a console pop up when you launch the game? Can you send me the log file located at \Monster Hunter World\nativePC\plugins\CSharp\Loader\SharpPluginLoader.log
The Sharp Plugin Loader opens a console (when you run the game) and generates logs if its running. Since both of these things are not happening I think the Sharp Plugin loader is not running for you. Maybe check out https://fexty12573.github.io/SharpPluginLoader/Installation/
When I was adjusting the mod, Sharp accidentally started twice, but when I opened the game again, it failed again. This is very strange. This is the content in the log, hope it helps. I forgot how to compress what I sent, I'll delete it after you see it.
The logs look fine which that logs I get. So, the console does not stay open, is it? My console stays open while the game is running. Looks most likely that Sharp Plugin Load is not working correctly (Maybe). Do you have Stracker's Loader and the performance mod installed (It should not impact this but just in case because I have it installed. I also see that you have Dynamic Camera Plugin installed, does that work for you?
Yes, when Stracker is functioning normally, I can see the console, but now when I open the game, console is just flashes and disappears. As for Stracker's Loader and the performance, I'm not sure what that is. I only downloaded SharpPluginLoader-0.0.3.1.zip. Also, I'd like to use the Dynamic Camera Plugin you made, but similarly, it's not working.
Sorry for the late reply I cant replicate it on my end. Can you remove all of the mods in the CSharp directory (Dynamic Camera and HideWeapons) and try to run the game? Does the console stay open? If it does not then its an issue with Sharp Plugin Loader. You can go on the MHW Modding Discord and ask Fexty about it because I have no idea about the Sharp Plugin Loader
Long sword sheathes remain visible on character. Charge blade's shield will appear floating when first loading into an area or using an interactible like the item box or forge

I don't think compatibility for MO2 is in the pipeline anytime soon for Sharp Plugin Loader, looking at their GitHub.
I'll let them know anyway.

Is .Net 8.0 installed?
I tried other weapons and they all didn't work.

No log is generated, but I think there is no problem with my installation and other mods are running normally.
Since both of these things are not happening I think the Sharp Plugin loader is not running for you.
