The requirements to get these spells should be clarified. Selecting a Specialization and Majors/Minors to get a skill level of at least 25 gives you all four spells, but if your skill is only 15 you don't get any spells (worse than vanilla). Strangely, if your skill is at 20 you might get none, one or two spells depending on your Favorite Attributes, but they aren't logically tied to the governing attribute of the spell school.
Example: Intelligence, Willpower, Personality at 40,30,30 (no Favorites) and Conjuration, Restoration, Illusion at 20 I get zero spells. If I choose Personality as Favorite (40), still 0 spells. If I choose Intelligence as Favorite (50), still 0 spells. However if I choose Willpower as Favorite (40), I get two Restoration, two Conjuration and one Illusion spell. Makes no sense.
So I liked this concept, but the description and the readme file should have stated that these new starting spells replace the normal starting spells instead of being in addition. The variety of the new spells is nice, but there are several starting spells, like water walking, that aren't replaced and you no longer can get that. I tried this mod with multiple different characters and races with the same results.
These spells are the ONLY spells you can get at the start if you use this mod. So while I like a few of them, I will probably not use this mod going forward. Thanks though. I think this was a great idea!
EDIT: In retrospect, after looking harder at what new spells you get versus what you lose, I am actually leaning toward continuing to use this mod. Water walking is really the only starting spell that I use in Seyda Neen and I can buy that later. Similarly, the Bound Dagger and Ancestral Ghost shorter spells are fine until you can buy the longer versions. And this mod gives you lower level spells of types you normally don't get until later, like Bound Bow and telekinesis.
EDIT 2: Ok, so I am a convert! Although the duration of each spell is short, the variety is very nice if you have decent starting skills and I use spells much for frequently at the start of the game now. I really like this, especially the telekinesis, glamour, bound longbow, and light in the beginning of the game. I would endorse this mod, but I downloaded it from MW History apparently so it wouldn't let me endorse it here.
EDIT 3 12/10/17: I like this mod so much that I downloaded it from here, just so I could endorse it! This is a great mod!
Some of the vanilla starting spells required quite a large magicka pool from the get-go to even be effective. Great idea here, will definitely have to try this out.

EDIT: I should clarify, 30+ because I also use Magicka of the Third Era which also adds starting spells, in addition to these.

But your Willpower determines pretty much everything related to spell function.
That's how the game handles spell stuff in general, it's all Willpower based.
It's interesting to know that it also has a bearing on how many spells you can start with.
When you have the opportunity, please share some feedback on the mod, too!
Thanks for your info, testing, and support.
