It's possible to use both mods, but they will conflict with each other. If you place this mod after TR_Factions.esp in your load order, the mod's changes will apply, but faction reputation requirements will remain the same as in the vanilla game. Otherwise, the mod's changes won't apply at all.
Like the mod. I noticed that the thieves guild has the favored attributes of Speed and Agility instead of the vanilla Personality and Agility? Was this intentional because the Legion and the Imperial cult still have personality as favored attributes?
Personality was always a dump stat for me but I like how this mod actually makes it have a purpose, albeit just for ranking up.
Can you please elaborate on the standards part? If the mod doesn't change faction reputation and to become a master you have to actually master a skill/stat, what else is required to advance in a high standards faction?
Sorry for taking so long to respond. I don't check my old mod pages too often.
Anyways, the "standards" feature is quite simple to understand IMO. "Low standards" factions require a bit less skills/attributes than what I listed to go through the ranks. Vice versa for "high standards" factions. Literally the only changes to ranking up this mod makes are to the stats required for each rank. That's it. To advance in a "high standards" faction in the context of this mod, you literally just need higher stats than a "normal standards" faction.
If you want the numbers for the "high standards" factions outright though, I'm afraid you're out of luck. Again, I want *some* surprises for people getting into the mod. Nothing stopping you though from looking at the numbers in the Construction Set, console commands, just plain in game, etc.
Anyways, TLDR: You just need higher stats than "normal" to advance in a "high standards" faction (in the context of the mod).
Really enjoying this mod as it make my perma-death runs more challenging. My only issue (however minor) is that I do not know the requirements to join factions (only to get a higher rank). Endorsed!
Glad to see that you're enjoying it. And about not knowing the requirements for joining, that's unfortunately something beyond my control or the scope of the mod. If anything else, you could always look at the mod's readme or description page for the entry level requirements (Rank 0). I know it's not comprehensive for "low standards" and "high standards" factions, but the stats needed should be around the "normal standards".
All three mods edit different settings -- Strict Factions checks which factions you've joined, Service Requirements depends on your faction rank, and this mod reacts to your skills and attributes -- so they should be perfectly compatible. I also did some testing and didn't run into any issues.
@SpaceDevo Just curious if the three mods mentioned here would be compatible with mods that overhaul Great Houses and guilds? Rise of the House Telvanni for example.

But to a more serious question:
Is this compatible with Strict Faction and Service Requirements?
Want to make rising ranks more dynamic and interesting.
