this error doesn't come from vanilla land. _g means it's most likely a glow texture. such a glow texture might be "requested" by a mesh and since not finding it results in an error. and vanilla land has no meshes that could need this _g texture. so this mesh must be from an other mod.
your proposed solution will remove the error, but might result with the affected mesh look wrong.
in the error message is there a mesh file name displayed? if you can't find the mesh, and would settle for the renaming solution, i would recommend making the _g texture black, this also isn't the best solution but at least the affected mesh would just not glow, instead of glowing wrong.
Encountered a strange glitch. In lava pools when looked at certain angles tx_lava_molten seems to clip through tx_lava_crust. To be fair it doesnt happen only with textures from this mod. Tried vurt's lava retexture - same glitch.
Hey, one thing I noticed, tx_lava_crust has no alpha channel, so the parallax effect with two differently moving layers is gone, as the layer underneath can't be seen.

Any chance of a 1K version?
I am but a humble mod appreciator! :)
tx_lava_crust.dds does exist in your mod but not tx_lava_crust_g.dds
What should I do? Should I make a copy of tx_lava_crust.dds and rename it tx_lava_crust_g.dds? Would that work?

Any idea what might have caused that?
