Thanks for the mod. But i have updated: Updated Version of: Bag of Holding.zip 1)MWSE\mods\OperatorJack\BagOfHolding\main.lua 1-1) To support quick move items from inventory to Bag of Holding or in backward direction. By support: Ctrl + Left Mouse Click = quick single item move Shift + Left Mouse Click = quick whole stack move 1-2) To prevent move Bag of Holding to itself (to its container) 1-3) To prevent move equipped item by Ctrl/Shift + Left Mouse Click 2) Bag of Holding.ESP 2-1) The bag can hold a constant weight of 9 000 000 (like unlimited) 2-2) The bag has a constant weight of 1. 2-3) The bag now can be attached to quick slot (unfortunately miscellaneous items can't be attached to quick slot so i have changed its type to Apparatus/Alembic with quality 0.01) Note: 1) You can add item by console code as before.
Spoiler:
Show
open console by: ~ (`) player->AddItem "OJ_BOH_BagOfHolding" 1
2) "Bag of Holding.ESP" was updated for Morrowind Fullrest Repack so can appear warnings during Morrowind load, this can be resolved by open it in "TES Construction Set.exe": File->Data Files, select "Bag of Holding.esp" press "Set as Active", pres Ok button (ignore warnings), pres File->Save.
I enjoy the mod. I use it regularly on my desktop PC. I installed Morrowind on my laptop and included my mods which are like 4. The Bag shows up in my inventory but does nothing when I drop it on my character. Ideas?
Sounds like MWSE is not running. You can check your MWSE.log file in the Morrowind data files directory to confirm. If it isn't running, you might need to reinstall it or check with NullCascade on the Morrowind Modding discord.
I love it, the bag works great, and the concept is simple. I had tried one of the portable house mods, and this just works so much better for me in my game.
I did cheat to get the bag however. Having never played Morrowind before, it seemed like it might take me a long time to get over to Telvanni territory to be able to get it, so I added the bag in by console. If I was king for a day, I think I'd change it so that the bag is available early game, especially considering that everyone's strength and carry capacity is low at that point. I think I would put it in Fargoth's hiding place, so that while the bag is free, you do have to complete a short quest to get it. Or make it buyable in the Seyda Neen merchant.
"I think I would put it in Fargoth's hiding place, so that while the bag is free, you do have to complete a short quest to get it"
NO!
Don't do that and rip off poor Fargoth! I did that quest once and when I talked to him again it made me feel sad for days! And I've done hundreds of playthroughs, once was enough.
I'd put at the end smuggler's cave. The Wizard in there can be pretty deadly early on, so there's a Risk vs Reward factor..
"I used to have a secret hiding place. I don't anymore..."
So... I took the time and trouble to go over to Tel Fyr(about 10 minutes of very slow levitation), got there, levitated up. Saw the bag, took it and was immediately killed by Divayth Fyr. I had not saved since I was expecting he would not care since I took other stuff from there without him caring, when I did the Telvanni quest. So WTF? Why does he care this time? And how can I get the bag without being murdered by a thousand year old master wizard??
Nevermind. After he killed me 3 times I just googled how to cheat, found out the ID from the construction set, which I had to google how to use, then gave myself the item. easy
The Bag of Holding is under the bookshelf to the right of Divayth Fyr (the guy who cures your corpus), at "Tel Fyr" (which is located southwest of "Sadrith Mora" it's an island), you need a levitation potion to levitate to him inside the building via hole in the roof (enter "Tower of Tel Fyr, Onyx Hall" take a right enter "Tower of Tel Fyr, Hal of Fyr" look up, need to fly up there), Hope this helps.
The best thing about this bag is that it doesn't seem to conflict in any way I can as yet discern with this bag. Yes...yes I *am* enough of a packrat to need two bags of holding (or more).?
Great idea, but can you please rename the filename? When I download it I get a file called Main file-47778-1-1586125755.7z, hard to tell what it is when downloading together with 100+ other mods.
OMG, I've tried many similar mods, and yours is the only one that doesn't require throwing it on the ground to get it to work after each restart of the game. Don't know how you did that!? "Small" but huge thing, and much appreciated. Absolutely no other issues. It. Just. Works!
I like that it's just a 15 pound bag no matter what as well. (I may have increased how much weight the bag can hold, but I'm a major pack rat:-)
Also, I couldn't for the life of me find it where it was supposed to be. I even upset Divayth a bit by unlocking things I shouldn't have. Oops.. But the console is my friend sometimes.
