New version: - Hist Cuirass and Vagrant boots: body parts re-assigned (issue spotted by Blitzenrival)
- NEW CLASS: The Arcane Knight has long studied arcana while following the more conventional training of a knight in melee combat and etiquette. (Class created by Denina) - NEW CLASS with unique gameplay: The Plagueherald resists diseases and has the intellect to understand and manipulate them, spreading them to enemies. Once an enemy is weakened and plague-ridden, the Plagueherald will finish them off with their axe. > When you contract a disease (including TR ones), study it with your unique book to learn how to spread the disease. > You basically get a new spell, a powerful variant of the disease, somewhat cheaper than vanilla spells. > You can only spread a disease (i.e cast the spell) if you have said disease
The necromancer class seems to have a slight compatibility problem with Necrocraft. They get a summon daily power, but reloading the game changes the power into one of those "summon a pre-built undead to your side" spells, having it no longer even be a power.
Love the mod, though. It's one of many mod I missed when I tried playing with OpenMW last year; now I'm back to using regular Morrowind with MWSE!
Here's an idea, and addon that makes it so that you gain a bonus for the Corpse Preparation skill from Necrocraft if you choose Necromancer as your class.
Already a thing, I think. I added a bunch of skills from MWSE mods, I'll double-ckeck it is there. 99% certain, I remember adding a book required by the mod to the necro's starting gear.
Plagueherald is pretty interesting, though to get the most out of it, you'd probably have to use spells and enchanted gear to help negate the negative effects of the diseases you have.
This is becoming such a rad mod. Personal wishful thinking, but after reading XeroFoxx's article this should be linked with Custom Portrait and somehow integrated with a portrait AI model to generate bespoke Elder Scrolls characters! Enter your variables in the gaps! Lovely RPG stuff, thanks Danae <3
I am so happy you're enjoying Xero's creation, it's such a great tool for players who really get into RP.
I can't think of a way to automate the custom portrait creation, access to image AI is usually a subscription, using it requires credentials, etc... but using the AI prompt from Ahead of the Classes and a quick edit to get the right size and saved in the right folder and you're good to go! I tried Canva which gives you a few credits. Unless you make new characters every day, it's a good place to start. :)
Love this mod, sadly it doesn't work with OpenMW, which I recently started to use. Now, if i were to play a Plagueherald and spawn in their unique stuff with the console, I assume the class still wouldn't work properly for me?
Anyway, what i actually wanted to point out: the Arcane Knight and Plagueherald are not on the list on your website, and the Succubus/Incubus gets Command Humanoid, which is a Conjuration spell, but lacks the Conjuration skill necessary to cast it. Perhaps you made the reasonable assumption that it was an illusion spell?
Unfortunately NO. OpenMW doesn't support MWSE, which is why I switched back to Vanilla Morrowind, because there's just way too many awesome MWSE mods out there now.
With OpenMW you only get the classes but not the item/spell addons. OpenMW-lua is starting to offer more features now, the day might come when this mod can be converted, it's not very complex.
Typically, I either used vanilla spells or created my own, often, to make a spell that fits with the class rather than the skills, I made them 100% success or a power. I'll need to double-check.
hello im new to modding and i installed this mod and im getting a warnings file in my morrowind files saying i'm missing a important mod file even thought i've downloaded all the proper mods. any help would be appreciated

Do you have all the requirements up-to-date?
What do your logs, especially MWSE.log say?
EDIT: it was not, adding it for the next update!
