Crossing my fingers this solves the biggest problem with Morrowind...not the slavery or the xenophobia, the racism and religious zealotry, the massive and unstable volcano, no...it's the fact that they hate money for some unholy reason

edit: doesn't seem to be working for the few merchants i've tried, i'll keep looking
edit2: seems to be working on most vendors but not all, yay :)

Mod only seems to work with some merchants, those that usually sell soul gems seem to not be affected by the mod. Fadase Selvayn is an example.

Using MO2 and renaming it to a .esp works in openmw .48.  I added it mid-playthrough, and I had to wait a few in-game days for vendors to have 10x money.  I'll never be forced to rely on Creeper again!!

I always install morrowind mods manually. Can MO2 only add .eps files ? If so then I should add an esp version of the mod.

    Confirmed working in OpenMW .48.

Unpacked zip to a /Mods/More Gold for Merchants folder (which is arbitrary). In the OpenMW Launcher, tabbed to Data Directories, clicked Append, added that directory, tabbed to Content Files, enabled More Gold For Merchants.omwaddon. Perfect.

Thanks for doing this. In the vanilla game, one could expand vendor gold by selling them some. It made sense to me as you were giving them a small business loan to expand their business. Probably the most common type of loan there is in RL but players seemed to find it broken.  Plus, the player had to earn that money in the first place.

Why the OpenMW devs had a problem with this, I cannot say. Now we have to have patches where merchants are all just straight up loaded. Heck, if they had that much cash with no loan repayments, why would they be doing business in a backwater like Morrowind anyways? Whatever. Thanks again.

I'm glad you enjoyed the mod. I didn't know open MW released .48, good to know everything is working.

I didn't edit the creeper, the mod just makes regular merchants viable.

As many people stated below, the mod does not work- don't bother.

I can change the load order of ESPs in Vortex, but how do I change the load order of OpenMW Addon files?

This mod shouldn't conflict with anything so you should be good just placing it anywhere.
