About this Mod:
This mod adds several new branches and other tweaks to the initial dealings with the infamous Fargoth.
- You must tell Arrille you helped Fargoth to get his disposition increase (I mostly wanted a dialogue reaction from Arrille to the player).
- Ganciele Douar and Hrisskar Flat-Foot will react to the note to Hrisskar.
- In addition to working with Hrisskar to shake Fargoth down, this mod adds the option to side with Fargoth and the option to narc on Hrisskar to his superior officer, Sellus Gravius.
- If you reach a high enough rank in the Legion, you can use your authority to deal with Hrisskar yourself.
- Ganciele Douar and other relevant NPCs react to quest progress and branches appropriately.
This mod has been tested and cleaned with tes3cmd. That said, this is the first mod I've ever released, so please let me know if you encounter any bugs or other issues.
About the "Choice and Consequence" Mod Series:
Vanilla Morrowind quests generally offer less choice, and less consequence for choices made, than mod projects such as Tamriel Rebuilt and Project Tamriel-affiliated mods, not to mention the later Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. The result for me is that despite a desire to go back to the TES3 vision of Tamriel, it's hard to go back to Vvardenfell's quests without wondering what could be. What if I could approach this quest in another way or side with someone else? What if NPCs reacted more to my actions, or my factions gave me exclusive options?
Well, why wonder? I've always wanted to learn the Construction Set and what goes into crafting RPG content, so here we are. This series is an attempt to systematically go through the vanilla game's side quests, and give them some lore-friendly vanilla-plus-style expansions.
There are other mods out there that tweak vanilla content, but I haven't seen any attempts to comprehensively go through everything. I can't claim for sure I will either, but I will until I get bored at least. I still have plenty to learn after all.
Permissions:
Mods I make are in general free to use without prior permission, but please use common sense. That is, try to credit when feasible, don't claim it's yours, etc.
