I love what happens if you side with Fargoth and tell Hrisskar to go to a tomb. Very satisfying.

Yes, but there is no way Fargoth could have spoken to Arrille before the player gets to him in a typical playthrough! Psychic Arrille confirmed!!

In all seriousness, I just wanted Arrille to react in dialogue to the player's actions, and I used this mod in its whole as a way to learn my way around the basics of dialogue, journal entries, and quest progression. My description shouldn't be taken as a serious criticism of anything in the base game.

      Thanks for the comment! :)

And tbh, it still perfectly makes sense in my opinion. Speaking about it to Arille yourself makes it more like a situation of "Ah yes, I remember my friend mentioning that now that you say". Basically another knock on the noggin so he remembers what you did for better deals haha.

Hello, I noticed the mod deletes a vanilla dialogue reference (greeting for Hrisskar Flat-foot) and adds a functionally identical one (it changes the condition for MS_Lookout from = 0 to < 10, but that should give the same result). Was that intentional? I'm no expert on Morrowind dialogue, but deleting references is always bad, I believe. If this was done because the vanilla greeting was in the wrong spot, you can move items up or down with the arrow keys, but not up and down, but left and right for some reason.

Also, not getting any reward for siding with Fargoth is a bit disappointing compared to the gold and additional items from the stash in the original quest. Although you can loot Hrisskar's body in the tomb. But maybe Fargoth could teach the player to sneak or something like that.

Thank you for the specific feedback and advice regarding the implementation! Some things about the mod are a bit messy, and the way the quest progresses can also be tightened up a bit I think. I'll keep your comment in mind when I get to redoing this one at some point in the future.

The original concept was for Fargoth's reward to be the loot from Hrisskar's corpse, but Fargoth teaching the player to sneak is a nice idea. I'll consider it when I brush up my planning document before reimplementing this mod.

Hi there, thank you for your great mod! Always wanted Fargoth quest to be something like this. Here's some suggestions how to improve your mod:

Fargoth says that Thelas Ancestral Tomb is northwest from Seyda Neen, but it's actually west from there. Related journal entry has right directions.

There are too many "..." when you tell Fargoth about Hrisskar's plans, you may consider deleting some of them.

When Hrisskar leaves to the tomb, you use FadeOut + Disable + FadeIn in one dialogue entry. In this case, Hrisskar disables before the screen turns black. It might be a better idea to split this dialogue into 2 entries, with FadeOut in the first one and Disable + FadeIn in the second.

I haven't found Fargoth's ring when I searched his stash. Not sure whether your mod changes it. If it does, what's the reason behind this change?

I found it a bit illogical that Hrisskar attacks you if you expel him from the Legion. If he kills you, he will be wanted for public murder, making his situation only worse.

I also found it strange that Hrisskar, being a more-or-less skilled warrior, dies so fast inside the tomb. You may change it so he dies somewhere farther or returns back to Seyda Neen on the next day, blames you for lying him and attacks you. In this case, he has the right to attack you because you put a life of a Legion member in danger by your lies.

I appreciate your feedback! I've learned a lot from the additional mods I've made after this, so I was already planning to fix this one up eventually. I'll consider your suggestions once I get to it--they're all valid points.
