Thank you to those who have downloaded this mod and have been patently waiting for new updates. I am currently revising this mod as well as the two preview videos that accompany it. These changes will hopefully be made some time this month or next month. Look forward to the new improvements soon.
i tend to remake characters like that too but mods for this are slow enough that me and dude can play like at least 20 hours on a world before i reset it and add something
Can totally relate. I've spent way more time modding MW than I have actually playing it (though I've also played it probably more than any other game).
Like now: I start a new game, create a character and get underway .. then wander over to Nexus just to 'check something', discover a pile of new mods or updates to mods and vanish completely down that rabbit hole again. It's one of the things I most love about MW, actually ;)
This looks interesting. I have other voice replacers for Dagoth Ur, Almalexia, Vivec, Dagoth Gares, etc... I'm wondering what the compatibility situation is looking like? Should I not use both?
I have all the characters that are affected by this mod listed on my page and neither Dagoth Gares or Vivec are included, but I will be adding Vivec's spoken dialogue in a future update.
And yes of course this mod will conflict with other voice replacers that modify the same files
This is an immediate download, for the Daedric princes. Just listening to the first view voices on your uploaded video. For the playable races, I don't know if the changes are enough to really be noticeable.
Thank you for including a preview. Nice job! You have good taste, so hope to see more mods from you.
I appreciate the compliment. I've been working on this project for a couple months and I'm happy to finally upload it, I hope you enjoy using it.
I was expecting to get a comment about how subtle some of the new voices of the playable races' are and the reason for this is because lowering or raising the pitch even just a little bit too much for most of the race voice files caused immersion breaking audio feedback.
I had initially planned to make the voices deeper especially for characters like the male Bosmer in particular to make their voice less squeaky, but I didn't want to release my mod with the characters sounding like they were vibrating when they spoke. As far as I can tell Bethesda didn't give the voice actors good microphones to use.
I like how subtle it is personally, especially because it keeps modded dialogue from being too different. If you do manage to change it a bit more I'd really appreciate keeping this version up too. Thanks for the mod btw!
