I am getting some rather odd issues with Openmw using this mod. If I save in the teleport room - it freezes and crashes the game without saving. Also if I use the teleport room to go to Mount Kand, it takes a very long time to load. Then when it does load, my game lags to a standstill in the storm - and then crashes. I have tested running to that same location and it's completely fine - 60 fps, even during an ash storm so its not an issue with the location. Also saving my game in many different locations is fine, its just an issue in that one room.
Has anyone else had any similar issues? I checked the OpenMw logs and there is nothing obvious there to what the issue is.
It's incredibly well made and almost certainly one of the most technically adept player homes.. ... but it's not a player 'home'. It's a player storage space. There's no kitchen or a living room. There's practically no indication of the home being lived in. And I think that's not immersive. This just screams Patrick Bateman energy.
Been a modder and nexus member a long time and it all started for me with Morrowind. I seldom comment but this is hands down the best under rated house mod ever. There have been house mods with updated scripts, meshes and textures but mods like this are the foundation for expectations of home functions.
Man, what a nostalgic trip exploring this mod again. However I cannot for the life of me remember where the secret samurai room is. I have found all but that one. The hint on the scroll says "A devoted Samurai always goes where Honor dictates..." anybody know where the entrance is? I thought maybe it would be in the challenge pits or maybe in the dojo but haven't found anything yet.
It's in the dojo, there are Japanese characters on banners on the wall, one of them behind the trees says 'honor'. Could you tell me where the hint scroll is? I cannot for the life of me find it. The book says it's in the thieves den, but I've looked all over.
Ravenloft is an extra-dimensional space that you access via an amulet. It has no outside presence unless you use a mod to add an exterior (not sure if included in this version, but it used to be an addon).
My favourite house mod in ES... great work preserving this mod on the Nexus, especially as the other main mirror to this mod, MW mod history, is now down for the time being.
