A suggestion: change the appearance of Sarnir the Clerk to something else, for example vanilla / TR / Cyrodiilic clothes. Because according to "someone in particular" topic:
Sarnir the Clerk is an Imperial agent, here to investigate the disappearance of a scholar.
so perhaps he should look differently from the rest of Dagon Fel citizens.
I think there's a big discrepancy between dialogue and what's actually in game here. Maybe they had different plans for this NPC, like a questline that was never developed.
- he's not an imperial but a nord - he's not an Agent but a Savant - he doesn't belong to any faction
He's also working at the counter, so changing giving him a different clothing would be quite weird.
That being said, I'll make an alternative version to reflect what's in that dialogue line and let people pick the version they prefer.
"Imperial agent" could simply mean that he's working for some Imperial organization, it may have nothing to do with his race or class. But otherwise you're right, perhaps it's a piece of leftover dialogue from an unfinished questline. Having an alternative version would be nice, thank you!
Should be fine, I don't think I made many edits to Dagon Fel NPCs, except maybe the shipmaster. I'll probably add this as a recommended mod to run alongside NOD when I next update it. In the meantime, merge objects.
