Ah I see thanks! First time playing morrowind again in like 20 years do I don't remember that place. I haven't started on Solstheim yet but this seems like a good excuse as any
The quest is given from one of the guards at Fort Frostmoth after you complete the quest that lets the guards talk to you. If I remember right it is a female guard near the gate to the rest of the island.
Ok so I got to solstheim and got to the moonsugar quest that sends me to this location. I finally got there and found it but unfortunatly it isn't working. None of the doors work, as I am typing this it's the 4th of december so I tried opening that door but it doesn't work, neither does any of the other doors.
Do I need to activate or do something to get this to work?
I am using version 1.1d on OpenMW version 0.49.0
Checking the CMD that runs on the background shows the following: "[02:18:51.648 E] stack traceback: [02:18:51.648 E] [C]: in function 'record' [02:18:51.648 E] [string "MWSE/mods/Danae/adventCalendar/omw/acal_toolt..."]:27: in function 'getRecord' [02:18:51.648 E] [string "MWSE/mods/Danae/adventCalendar/omw/acal_toolt..."]:189: in function 'onTooltip' [02:18:51.648 E] [string "MWSE/mods/Danae/adventCalendar/omw/acal_toolt..."]:219: in function <[string "MWSE/mods/Danae/adventCalendar/omw/acal_toolt..."]:210> [02:18:51.652 E] L1_-1[MWSE/mods/Danae/adventCalendar/omw/acal_tooltip.lua] onFrame failed. Lua error: NPC '"aa_xmas_15"' not found "
it keeps spamming this over and over again as soon as I activate any door of the calendar.
It looks like you have an older version of OpenMW 0.49. Older versions would error when this check was ran, newer ones just give nil. Use a more recent build and let me know. If you still hav issues, let me know your build number that shows up in the main menu or in the launcher.
Ah ok I see, I got a whole message typed out and now i noticed you replied :D I do use a developer build but it is about a month old or so , so I guess it isn't the latest one anymore, I will update my build and let you know how it works out
Alright I updated to the latest dev build and you are correct it works perfectly now, thank you!! In fact the game loads a lot faster as well and it smoother, ye I think my build was way way older then just 1 month old.
i am using the OpenMW Enhanced mod list which uses Wabbajack to download both OpenMW and all mods. Although it's a very easy install I suppose it does install an older version of OpenMW as well.
So ye that was totally on me, I will be using the current dev build as it seems to work just fine with all my other mods as well.
This is a really cute idea! I did find that the calendar was in ToddTest rather than Sweetshare's house in the 1.1c version so maybe an esp got mixed up? It was in Sweetshare's house when I tried the earlier version, though the boxes only worked in 1.1c
