Inspired by the few "spoiled" potions found in the game, this mod will cause potions in the player's inventory to "spoil" after a certain amount of time has passed in game turning into a version with reduced value and a damage health effect applied. The mod aims to add realism and challenge to potion management, encouraging you to use your potions before they go bad.

Potions spoil after a default of 240 in-game hours (10 days), though this can be adjusted to your liking. When a potion spoils, it is replaced with a "Spoiled Potion" that has a damage health effects and lower value. Certain potions are excluded from spoiling by default such as alcohols and quest items and you can customize this list through MCM to protect potions from spoiling.
