Maybe a special container that acts as "cold storage" that keeps them cool & dark to last way longer?  speaking of darkness, maybe some potions could spoil mostly from light exposure walking around outside during the day (and the Ashfall backpack with sunshade could provide some protection?)

I'm curious, what happens to the potions that NPCs sell? Do all of their stock spoils or they just normally restock after 3 days anyway?

I know this is late but answering for future downloaders, npcs aren't meant to be affected in any way. Only potions in the player's inventory spoil

Hi ! this mod doesn't seem to work for me... After 20 ingame days, none of my potions spoiled. I wonder what may cause this ? The mod should be correctly installed (the syanide folder is in my mwse mods folder). Should there be a config menu ? because I don't have a config menu that appears ingame either.

Sounds great. Do any similar mods exist for OpenMW?

Simply evil. Could you somehow check effects balance or something to filter out poisons, so they don't aquire desired damage health effect over time?

cool, does it affect player made potions? and to integrate mods from a mod, do i have to edit the main.lua or is possible to integrate with interop?

Yes it includes player made potions! Player made potions are given a long string of numbers as an id though, so that's how they will appear in the mcm. They also won't appear there until you load a save. Potions from other mods should be automatically counted as it iterates through any object considered a potion, so there shouldn't be any need for an interop. If potions from mods aren't appearing please let me know, but they show up just fine for me.

oh my God this is brilliant? I always hated how I would do alchemy in big bursts and then not have to engage with it again for an in game month or two.
