For some unknown reason this mod made all my fights "Slippy" as in the guy I was fighting would run around in a circle or around me FASTER then I could turn. Or make some Heroes run as fast as a Horseman.
I think the newest version (1.3 Hold to sprint) now actually slows down everyone below default for me somehow, any direction, when not holding the button and holding it seems to be default speed.
Edit: I noticed this mod also causes everyone to just run up to position during the "walk up" cycle at the start of the duel dialogue with bandit bosses after clearing a hideout.
Everyone slowing down was an issue I had with the original release but I believe it's been fixed. Is there any chance you're using the dll from another release? I've downloaded the 1.3 release and put it in my game folder but I can't seem to replicate that issue. Could you just confirm, are all characters slower or is it the player character specifically?
Yea I just noticed the bandit thing as well, I'll get to work trying to fix that
Every single character (PC and NPC alike) is slower than default during battle. When I'm pressing the button my speed returns to normal/near normal, when I'm not pressing it my speed is really slow moving forward (W), and slows down to a walk moving sideways (A, D) and backwards (S). I'm using Vortex so there shouldn't be any previous file leftovers and I completely uninstalled and then re-downloaded and re-installed 1.3 too, to no avail, and there also shouldn't be any other mod I'm using that would conflict. However, I ran some tests by moving this mod around in my load order, and made the realization that one of my recently installed mods actually conflict with this one. Namely it's Troop Collision and siege tower and castle stairs fix if I'm not mistaken. Not entirely sure why they'd conflict but they seem to do, so sorry for the false-alarm it wasn't actually an issue with your mod. D: Though it's still a conflict and not sure if putting Sprint Mod after it will render the other mod non-functional, if it does then a compatibility patch by either you or the other mod's author or whoever feels up for the task would be nice.
and btw regardless what that nut said earlier I would not come here and criticize another mod author's work. I was commenting on the fact that taleworld's did not balance their game and it forces us to use cheats. Yes increasing your speed when the athletic perk is supposed to do it is a cheat but that doesn't mean it is a bad thing to do when the game is not balanced. I wish that nutcase had asked me why I said that and we could have had a friendly conversation. that in no way was a slight to your mod but apparently that entire thread got deleted because I had to report that user for harassing me in pm.
No problem at all, I enjoyed reading the discussion and wasn't offended at all. I wasn't aware it got so heated though nor that the thread was deleted. The internet can be fickle place I guess

RIP another abandoned sprint mod.
Having played with this mod for the past two weeks, it feels like everyone's all of a sudden an olympic sprinter =(
That would be one of the most immersive mods.
Edit: I noticed this mod also causes everyone to just run up to position during the "walk up" cycle at the start of the duel dialogue with bandit bosses after clearing a hideout.
