    I do like this mod but I REALLY WANT to NOT be a part of a faction for it to work.
    I have been playing for about ten hours. I am NOT part of a faction but I did obtain all the Dragon Banner pieces, etc. and have determined to create my own kingdom.
    Problem is, it has been peace between EVERY faction for the entire time. It is a huge love fest!

    I want to be a mercenary for the Khuzait but they are not at war with anybody so they will not take me on as a mercenary plus I can't incite a war with anybody.

    The only faction I can fight with is the minor faction which is an enemy of the Khuzait.

    (I could pick a fight with other minor factions but that has issues also as the Khuzait will not let me be a vassal because I am 'at war' with a clan that they are not at war with.

    My only option seems to be to join as a vassal to the Khuzait which I will probably just have to do.

    I am sure that you have not made the starting of a war without any affiliation because the game engine 'forbids' it <?>

      the game allows it, but that's an extra dialog I didn't code, mainly because this was sort of a proof of concept and I've been unsure where to take it from here -- haven't done any updates because I'm not sure what direction I want to go.

      My issue (with my own mod lol) is:
      Inciting war should cost something.. rep or gold or even chance to be "caught" and imprisoned.

      I was originally going to use the persuasion mechanic in the game but quickly realized that it sucks, and people just reload when they fail persuasion anyway, so not sure why it even exists.

      Anyway.. that's where i'm at with this mod -- thanks for the feedback, always appreciated

      Totally agreed. Inciting war and conspiring in general could cost something. And I don't actually like that I can incite war between any two parties with whom I'm not even associated. Can you switch that off. Oh and can you make it cost relationship or something?

      would be great if u could bribe clan leaders to support wars or peace or any other kind of decision (could be implemented with diplomacy mod). Please update for 1.2.11

    Please update! My Kingdom is bloodthirsty and the country is war torn! I need to stop this violent madness and return the lands to their once peaceful ways.

    Thanks man, this is just what I needed.
    I don't know how people survive after declaring independance but I surely couldn't, everyone is declaring war on me but I didn't want to drop a 60h long game.

    This is a great mod. I hope to unite other weak countries against powerful countries, but after using it, I found that even if war is declared, the nobles of the country will immediately stop the war. Even if there is peace, the nobles will immediately declare war. So we still can't control the war.

    Too peaceful? If anything it’s broken without diplomacy fixes lol wars are always being declared

      That would be a good idea too - incite peace, through roguery and cunning. I think this mod could do that just as easily.

      thing is -- I'm struggling with how to make this more like a mod and less like a cheat. I started coding persuasion dialog but quickly realized I don't like it. It's senseless garbage, and people just reload when they fail anyway. Now playing with the idea of throwing you into a hideout (if that's even possible) which you must win, and I'll stage it like you're dressed up as the faction you're trying to incite war against, or if making peace, maybe you're killing the top opponent of peace.. something along those lines.

    Great idea, but i would go a little further, as the project go along.

    Try to incorporate Charm and Roguery checks to incite a war without leaving a trace, take a look at the work of the community patch folks, and see if you could work some perks as pre-requisites to do so.
    And i would even go further and say that, with a high enough charm and roguery, you should be able to incite war between factions without beeing part of (If it's mechanically possible i mean)

    I may be overshooting, but this is an great idea that it's in dire need of implementation for more, treacherous players hehe
