Pinning this here as a quick reference for those that miss things on the main page:

    DISCORD:
DRM now has a Discord channel for those that want a more-back-and-forth discussion about the mod. I will also put some previews there when larger revisions are ongoing.
    https://discord.gg/uDzCEEmWT9

    KNOWN AND COMMON ISSUES:
    1) Only Irregulars and Nobles are Spawning
This is because your installation of ATC failed or you have loaded it after DRM. If you are only seeing irregular units and noble recruits, then try reinstalling the latest version of ATC and make sure that it is loaded prior to DRM.
Note that if working on an existing save, ATC only affects new units, so use a new campaign if you want to see if ATC is now working correctly.
--- Note that Tevea has some weird scripts around it so it might put in some Calradian Fighters even if ATC is working correctly. Check other settlements to be sure.

    2) [Lord] Needs Troops in [Castle] Crashes
I have observed this a few times in the past, though I have not seen it recently as of June 2021. This is a TaleWorlds issue, as far as I know, and any potential workaround I might have causes too many issues elsewhere.

    BUG REPORT PROCESS:
-- If this is a case of a crash, I need full context. Preferably a callstack, list of mods, etc. I can't promise that I will download everything to try and recreate it, but I will see if it is caused by DRM or one of its dependent modules. If you need something to get you a callstack, try the Better Exception Window [Note: BEW is currently non-functional as of 1.6.4]
--- If you are copying information from a crash or listing out mods you are using, please put it within spoiler tags -
    Spoiler:
    Show
    - so that viewers do not need to scroll through walls of text.
-- If I ask for more information and do not hear back from you in a week, I will close the report outright. If I can't recreate the crash or identify what went wrong, there is little I can do.

Note that items that are not bugs in the bug report section will be closed. I will hear bug reports in Comments, but I would prefer them in the Bug Reports section.

Mod Compatibility issues are NOT bugs. If DRM does not work with something like Calradic Kingdoms Expanded, that is probably because of overlap in what our mods do. I am not going to be making compatibility patches for every single mod out there, especially mods that I am not going to play myself, because I do not want to be responsible for maintaining them. That said, if you make your own compatibility patch I am more than happy to offer my advice and feedback on it.
A list of mod compatibilities is on the front page of DRM.

BUG PRIORITIES AND HOW THEY ARE RESPONDED TO:
Generally, I prioritize bugs and pushing out a fix depending on the severity.
-- LOW priority bugs are items that do not actually prevent DRM from functioning or may even be beneficial to the player, such as no horse being required to recruit a cavalry unit. These bugs I consider to be a "fix it when you can" thing, and will correct it as part of a subsequent patch rather than immediately, mostly because I don't want to bother people with a bunch of minor patches. These are often easily fixed by the end-user as well with some basic XML modding, which furthers being low priority.
-- MEDIUM priority bugs are things that do affect the gameplay notably, but are not campaign enders. This can be a variety of things, but it might include gear not being spawned in because I screwed up the item list, units not spawning correctly, or something like that. Generally I look to fix them, but I don't rush them out because they can be worked around.
-- HIGH priority bugs are basically anything that makes Bannerlord unplayable. These I will work to push out a patch for as soon as I can

    BALANCE FEEDBACK:
--- Unlike bug reports, I can promise no specific turnaround time as often people will encounter different things. In general, when I get balance feedback I start looking for it in my playthroughs to see what the case is or I might fire up a custom battle to test it. However, I want to avoid doing a dozen changes that get released, so it may be a while before I implement a fix or tweak to correct something as I want to be certain it is a unit imbalance first.
--- I know that sometimes this will be frustration, but given the large number of moving parts and factors (tactics used, army composition, the terrain, who is closer to their reinforcement point, etc.) I want to hear it if only so I can keep an eye out for it in my own playing. This is a one-man mod, so I know there is a lot of things that I have missed.

    BETA BUILDS:

I am NOT supporting the TaleWorlds beta branches of Bannerlord for DRM. Simply put, I don't want to have to rush out a revamp every time TW makes an update. I will support the stable branch, and in anticipation of a Beta Branch I would greatly appreciate the heads up.

This is not to say that I will never make something for beta compatibility, but it is simply not a priority for me. Likewise, I am not going to maintain specific builds of DRM for previous iterations, though I will try to keep previous DRM versions available via Old Files if you really want to, but they will be out of date in terms of what DRM has.

Awesome mod and one of the must-have, but I really really wish RBM wasn't a requirement.
Currently trying to play with all RBM modules disabled as it messes everything way too much.

How are we actually supposed to add the custom troop template for RBM into the game? The instructions make no sense to me.

Just adding a comment. I love this mod. You changed the game for me, and allowed me to experience what I really wanted, lower tier infantry where I didn't have to worry about the upgrade button and levies only getting so far, which makes sense against professional soldiers and mercenaries. Thank you.

I really hope you'll be able to update this when War Sails comes out. I really find it almost integral to my mod list now - both due to the cultures and how they expand Calradia for me, and how the troops are far more unique then their Vanilla and RBM counterparts.

In my game some of the units are missing armor. I've noticed:
    -Vlandian Paladins are bare chested.
-VLandian Knight Bachelors are Bare chested
    -Vlandian Serjeant are bare chested
-Imperial Palatine cataphracts have no horses

Anyone have similar issues? Earlier in the game i had used a throwing fix mod to overwrite the OSA_crafting_pieces.xml. I have since restored the original thinking maybe that was the cause. Time will tell as the units get replaced IO hope.

This mod is pretty great, but it's also blatantly clear that the mod maker literally hates Vlandia lmao

they're so so so pathetic in this mod, literally weaker than the weakest base game faction

Excellent mod, don't have any comments to add really, just want to say it feels good to play and i think the world is a little deeper with this mod installed

i especially love the imperial auxillia, it makes them feel like a competent roman counterpart, not just cosplayers who for some reason don't see the strengths of the cultures around them

I most definitely have ATC installed and loading above DRM, however, I've now travelled to almost every single Batannian and Vlandian village, and I don't see any of the regular troops spawning at all.

Like, I'm not sure what I could have done wrong, or if I missed a step, but I absolutely have all the requirements for DRM, and they are absolutely loading in the correct order, however, I still just don't see regular troops, what so ever.

Is there something in mod options, or some config file that I'm missing?

The way I understand ATC (and I am not an expert, just a mildly educated guess here) is that basic recruits spawn in vanilla-style and then during the daily tick ATC kicks in to upgrade them.  During the first few weeks or couple months of a fresh game, there's two things making good recruits so rare you often do not see any;  1) Every single lord of every kingdom is fanning out and picking up every available recruit to fill out their parties, and 2) Notables initially spawn with low Power and must reach 250 to get the full spawn rate of better units.

A good test would be to use a fresh test character that you just park in a city and wait until a year or two passes.  If every single city and village is still levy-only after that then there's something else going on.

Are you by any chance using Realistic Genders mod? This mod was causing the recruitment issue for me. Placing it on the top of load order fixed it.
